The village is also the home of the East End Seaport Museum & Marine Foundation, which hosts the annual Maritime Festival each September. Greenport is full of small shops and boutiques, ice cream parlors, restaurants and a few lively bars. Greenport proves to be the hub of the North Fork Foodie culture with many acclaimed restaurants and home of the Greenport Farmers' Market.
You can also take a drive through the North Fork and do some wine tasting at the different winery's or browse the charming antique shops. Or take a day trip and drive over to Orient point and hop on the Cross Sound Ferry to Foxwood, CT and hit the slots or play your luck at the blackjack tables.
