Description

The Space

This "Jr One Bedroom" space is about 500 Sq Feet. The bedroom (double size bed) is separated from the living room via a wall partition (w/out door) to allow for an abundance of light from the wall of windows overlooking the private terrace.

Ideal location just 10 minutes commute to Downtown, 12 blocks from Michigan Ave, 3 blocks from the Lake and Lincoln Park, and an abundance of bus and train lines within steps of the front door. Neighborhood and chain restaurants, bars, markets all within a few blocks too!

Doorman present. Laundry in basement, and dry cleaners on premise. Parking options available.

Guest Access

Entire apartment for your enjoyment.

Rooftop- weather permitting- on 30th floor.

Terrace- great from the 3rd floor window of condo, but also great to meander in person!

Interaction with Guests

I'm accessible via text, phone, and email at all times!

The Neighborhood

The Gold Coast is known for the many mansions of those whom have historically developed Chicago prior to 1900.
The Old Town strip is a block away to attend or peruse world-known comedy clubs (Second City and Zanies), dine in great restaurants and pubs, shop boutiques and grocers, or enjoy the ambiance!
Rush Street -strip of bars for casual nights or dance venues a few blocks away.
Michigan Avenue shopping- 10 minute walk or quick cab.
Lake Michigan- 3 blocks away, easy walk.

Getting Around

Bus and "El" outside the front door to a block or two, depending on line or color and direction headed.

Other Things to Note

Parking options:
(Recommended: travel by foot and local transportation since parking can be costly, time consuming, and sometimes limited if special events in the neighborhood or construction.)
Metered ($4-6/hour)- right outside front door. Monday-Sunday 8AM-midnight (check since may change without notice- includes holidays!)
Garage- in basement ($12 for 24 hour pre-paid residential stickers, no in-out-privileges)
Neighborhood Zone spaces (Signage Zone 74; South & East of condo towards Lake Michigan)- $1 day (24 hour) prepaid stickers
LaSalle Street- NOT during rush hour (7AM-9AM heading Southbound into city center and 4-6:30PM heading Northbound away from city center): FREE! Watch out for bus terminals, driveways, and hydrants though.
CAUTION TO ALL THOSE PARKING: Street cleaning is generally on Tues and Wed in the neighborhood, depending on the street and season. Please read all signage to avoid tickets and very quick towing to the pound in Lower Wacker Drive due to being in the Gold Coast neighborhood.
