Our place is a 7 min drive from Lake George village, 20 mins from Bolton Landing & 20 mins from Saratoga. We are close to parks, art & culture, dining, shopping, beaches and outdoor adventure. You’ll love our place because of the tranquil ambiance, natural and modern farmhouse decor, picturesque setting, private, relaxing outdoor spaces, pool, pond, and proximity to Lake George and Saratoga Springs. Our place is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families, and groups.

The space
One of the best things about this property is it's location and convenience. The farmhouse is just minutes off I87 and close to all major shopping, dining, activities and entertainment. Saratoga Springs is just 20 minutes to the south off I87 and the village of Lake George just 8 minutes to the north on I87. If you are looking for a respite away from the hustle and bustle yet quickly access all of it, you will appreciate this place! The property is private, sprawling and serene no matter the season. You will feel like you're in the countryside, yet all the urban amenities are just around the corner. Enjoy the privacy of the back grilling deck, cozy up to the outdoor fireplace, take a dip in the salt water pool by day or night. Plenty of parking in the driveway for up to 4 cars and use of 2 car garage. It's a one of a kind property and a rare find. Also makes a convenient weekly or monthly rental for Saratoga track season.

Guests at our farm can expect to feel comfortable, welcome, relaxed and at home. Our home is clean and spacious with a modern farmhouse vibe. The decor is simplistic, uncluttered and intentional, with hints of nature thoughtfully arranged throughout. Large windows let in natural light and amplify the beauty of the surrounding wilderness, trees and sprawling acres. Wendy’s style and design approach is inspired by the outdoors and reflected in the warm textures, organic fibers and a neutral color pallet. Many items throughout the home were found and collected over the years at antique markets, thrift shops and estate sales.

The bedrooms at the farmhouse are fit with quality linens, mattresses and blackout drapes to ensure a restful nights sleep! The well appointed chefs kitchen features a 6 burner Monogram gas stove, a Breville 12 cup grind and brew coffee maker, and a SMEG toaster, just to name a few. Two large islands make food prep, gathering or working remotely a pleasure. Skip the coffee shop, stay home and whip up a frothy latte to enjoy on the back deck as the sun comes up!

Enjoy the privacy and serenity of our salt water pool and sprawling 8 acres to explore. Our property has a stream that runs through the back forest, behind the barn, with tide pools and a small waterfall. Our favorite feature of the property is the large pond that is continuously fed by a mountain stream. It is home to brook trout, frogs, minnows, pollywogs and an occasional family of ducks. Our resident blue heron can often be seen getting fat on frogs! Guests may take delight in the lush flower blooms, vegetable gardens, wild herbs, and gushing streams around the home, barn and woods. Grab a book and relax in one of our hammocks, or doze off to the soothing sound of nature.

Our barn is another gorgeous feature that adds a soulful character and nostalgia to the property, not to mention a beautiful backdrop for family photos! Each year we expand our vegetable and flower gardens and enjoy sharing them with our farm guests. Just off to the right of the pool patio, guests can kick back in an Adirondack chair under the cafe lights, cozy up to a warm fire, roast marshmallows, and toast the stars!

We’re confident you’ll enjoy the peaceful aesthetic of the farm and feel like you’re miles from nowhere yet conveniently situated to all major shopping, dining, entertainment, and lake and mountain fun! This location is ACE!

My husband Bill and I enjoy traveling and exploring and are as adventurous as our work life allows us to be. We hit the open road as much as possible and prefer to stay at Airbnb’s! Two of our three children are grown and flown and our youngest is 18. We are grandparents to 3 and 1 year old granddaughters. We have two dogs we rescued from a shelter. They are beautiful collie mix sisters. We have chickens and enjoy their playful antics and fresh eggs!
