Linde's little village house is situated 50 metres from a medieval abbey on one side, and the heart of St Cyprien on the other. Shops and restaurants are only a few minutes walk, and there is a good Carrefour about 1km away. As a base for exploring the Dordogne it would be hard to beat. The house is ideal for an active couple who enjoy cycling, walking, and exploring the incredible cultural, historical and gastronomic delights of the Dordogne. The bed is comfortable and the bedroom light and spacious, the kitchen is compact and well equipped, the living area is refreshingly cool and shady after a day in the heat, and there is even a little courtyard with a barbecue where one can unwind after the day's activities.

Very good directions from Linde too find the house. Plenty of useful information to visit the area available in the flat. House as per description, clean, nicely decorated, quite area. Little court with BBQ well appreciated.Don't expect sunshine early in the morning or in the evening, as it is sourrounded by other houses, but it is pleasant to sit there. As it is a stone old house the lounge is a little cold in the evening, but heater is available. St Cyprien is a nice little town with all services available, a good market on the Sunday and is very convenient to explore the Dordogne and Vezere valley. Overall and good place to stay.

What a delightful home, it was exactly as described by Linde. It was presented beautifully on arrival, everything being perfectly clean and the bedroom was a delight to see. The house was equipped with everything that we needed for our stay - a definite home away from home. We loved the position of the house in the old town. St Cyprien was an ideal location for us to explore the Dordogne region, everything we wanted to see was just a short drive away. It was a bonus having the use of the bikes. Attention to detail was impressive, such as the bikes having helmets and repair kits if needed. Instructions for finding the property was very good and contact with Linde was easy from the outset. It would be an easy decision to return in the future.

My wife and I really enjoyed staying in Saint Cyprien in mid August and Linde's apartment is in a great location a one minute walk from the Main Street going through the town. It's not the most picturesque town compared to some of the others in the area but it is still very nice. It was also a good spot away from tourists and felt quite peaceful on the non-market days.. Communication with Linde was perfect and quick, and we were so appreciative of her suggestion to come one day earlier so that we didn't miss the weekly Sunday market. Her instructions for parking the car in town were very helpful, they even had photos of what the parking area and house looked like! She was also kind enough to organise a fan for us as before our arrival we expressed concern about whether it might be too hot by the time we got to Saint Cyprien (it turned out to be fine, and the weather was actually cold some days!) We loved the bedroom upstairs, nice and modern and light. The lounge room and the bathroom downstairs were a little tired and may have seen better days, and there was a bit of an 'off' smell outside the house in the garden near the sitting area which would sometimes come through to the bathroom which was unfortunate. Please also be prepared that the small alley that the apartment is on is currently torn up and being worked on so it's not exactly the nicest time to stay there. (Not because of noise, but more the appearance). There is no wifi in the house but the local cafes and restaurants have it (plus it was a good excuse to enjoy reading one of the books from Linde's nice little library). Linde also left an awesome custom guide she put together for exploring the area which was really useful for our day planning. Overall we enjoyed staying here but would probably pick somewhere else next time

We really liked staying at Linde's house. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a great holiday and Linde went out of her way to make sure it went well. The town is nice and there was so much to do and see nearby.

We have really enjoyed our stay in this charming little house. The location was perfect: quiet in a lovely historic village: we could get some rest between our visits in the Dordogne Valley. Moreover the house and the equipment was very useful: we had everything we need. We felt just like home ! Thank you very much for our stay, we will recommend you for sure to our friends and families.
