Who says you have to stay in a cabin for lakefront living? Come enjoy this modern rustic lakefront experience on a private, and serene 1 acre lot only steps from the water! This newly built home comfortably sleeps 6 - with a king bed in the master and a queen bed in each of the other 2 rooms. Equipped with an electric fireplace, ceiling fans throughout, a dedicated office with high-speed internet, a large, screened porch and so much more for an incredibly comfortable stay!
The space
This newly built 2,400 sq ft modern-rustic lakefront home is located within the gated Waterfront Club community. This home is situated on a scenic and serene 1-acre lot, with a ton of amenities to guarantee a fabulous stay. The property also has over 300 ft of lake frontage and the home has lots of windows so that you can enjoy the amazing views both day and night! And for those who don't love the endless steps down from the home to the lake, this is a flat lot with just 5 stair steps to get to flat land!
The open concept living room/dining room/kitchen allows for an engaging and relaxing time whether you are cooking, eating or just hanging out and relaxing. The fireplace in the living room is electric, with easy on and off, flame color options and added heat if desired. There is also a 65" TV over the fireplace, so you can sit on one of the 2 deep and comfortable couches, or a chair with ottoman option to fully kick back. Right off the living room is a large screened-in porch with seating for 7 - with the ability to open both sides of the sliding glass doors for even more of that open concept experience!
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we could think of that you would need, including a Keurig duo, so you can get your caffeine via Keurig-compatible pod or use the carafe for a full pot.
If your vacation will still include the dreaded work, know that you will have a fully dedicated office, with beautiful views of the lake, a docking station to use, 2 27" monitors and blazing fast AT&T fiber internet with 500 mbps speed that can download 62.5 MB of data every second - so everyone is the house can work and stream at the same time without issue.
The Master bedroom is equipped with a king-sized bed, a 55" TV, a his and hers master bath, and a separate mini-porch with seating for two to enjoy the views of lake!
The 2 other bedrooms are located on other side of the house - both with queen beds and 43" TVs in each. These 2 bedrooms share a bathroom with a double sink and tub/shower combo.
The laundry room contains full-sized front load washer and dryer, available for your use, and there is a half bath in the hallway.
We love our ceiling fans in NC, and you will appreciate having one in each of the 3 bedrooms, the living room, the screened-in porch and the master/office porch!
Please Note: You will be required to sign a stand-alone rental agreement outside of Airbnb's agreement, as well as provide a valid, current photo ID.
Upcoming Amenities: This property currently does not have a dock, but there are plans to add in Spring/Summer 2025. The propane firepit and 6 chairs AND Weber grill will be added by March 2025 (sooner if the weather is mild).

As a Guest, you will have access to all parts of the Leeward Lane property except for the unfinished bonus room above the garage, the locked pantry and locked master bath closet.
You MAY NOT access the Waterfront Club community amenities, including the pool, the community dock and associated kayaks/boats and may not grill in the common areas, etc.
