About this listing
Superking sized comfy bed in a 3 bed quiet apartment right in the city centre. Very easy to walk to from train station and close to all the attractions! Full access to kitchen! Wifi is of course included :)
Please note that the two listings under my name are in the same apartment. Due to unknown technical problem of airbnb I can't show them at the same address...
This beautiful and airy apartment is suited in the heart of Edinburgh on Calton Hill where the famous observatory is. Princes street, North Bridge and Calton hill are all within 1 min's walk and Royal Mile is about 2. There are probably 20 buses within 1 mins' walking distance, and Edinburgh Waverley station is within 300 meters. Super close to all the famous landmarks and this is the perfect location for your visit to this magnificent city.
Driving in Edinburgh is not recommended as there is no free street parking in the city centre. And if you do drive here, there is a NCP parking 100 meters away or you can use the paid street parking on Regent Road.
There are two rooms available in this 3 bed flat. the one advertised here has a super king comfy bed (the other room also listed on Airbnb has a double bed) and a wardrobe for you to use.
There are one bathroom with WC and another separate WC room, so no queuing up for toilet in the morning :)
Feel free to use the living room and kitchen (as long as you clean your dishes). I have everything you would expect in a kitchen. Tea/coffee/bread/cereal/milk etc are all there for you to have too.
WIFI covers the whole flat.
Fresh towels and hair-dryer are all provided. If you need things such as shower gel, shampoo, umbrella etc just ask :) Oh and i have a printer, you can print your boarding passes ;)
And if you are travelling from outside the UK and would like a SIM card ready for you to use, give me a shout in advance I will get one for you so you don't have to pay the expensive roaming charge
Interaction with Guests
And a bit about myself: I am a freelance artist and always flexible about time. Not the kind that get annoyed when my guests come home late-- I don't need to wake up for work in the morning :D So feel free to explore Edinburgh and I am always here to help.
I am generally in my own room and you probably even notice i am here :) And if you are a single traveller and would like some company I might do that too! Always good to make some new friends ;)
Very central but pretty quiet. Even a lot of locals don't know about my street because it's pretty much hidden away from the main roads. Very safe so don't worry if you go out in the nights.
Train station is very close and buses are plenty. Airport bus final stop is also just 5 mins walk away outside the train station.
Other Things to Note

The location of the house is great. Close to train station, Calton hill and city center. You can go almost every place by walk. Well communication with Lisa and her friend . I have a good time in Lisa's house.
Lisa's helper Fara is very friendly. She recommended us several restaurants to have our dinner. The room was cozy and clean. Lisa even provided everything in kitchen and bathroom. I really enjoy the stay in Lisa's place. :)
A very beautiful and comfortable house! Close to the train station and city centre. Fara is very helpful and friendly.
Lisa's flat is perfectly located, with a very space full room that can easily allocated 2 adults...her friend Fara (who actually was the one we interacted with) was very helpful...
This location is perfect! You can walk to everything that Edinburgh has to offer. You can also walk to the trains and buses, if you are longing to see something outside the city. We were treated very well by our host, and everyone was very friendly. The room was a nice size, and the whole unit is very clean and nicely maintained.
Great locations within walking distance of everything. Lisa's friend Kayla was very supportive when we needed anything. There are extra supplies and maps in the house and breakfast which was great.
First thing - the bed was exceptionally comfortable! Just what we needed after 24 hours of travelling.
The flat was ideal, and the facilities were excellent. It was ideally located for walking all around Edinburgh, from the sights of Calton Hill to Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood House and everything in between, in both the old and new towns.
Best of all, our hostess was very welcoming, friendly, informative and accommodating. We recommend it all very highly.
