Our cozy & clean B&B is located in a quite Irish village, perfectly located for exploring the Dingle Peninsula. Return in the evening to a nice pint by the fire in one of the villages 4 pubs, Hanafin's, Patcheens, Teach Sean, and the famous South Pole Inn.
We are located right in the centre of the Village, easy access to the pubs, shops & the local loop walks. Annascaul is an Ideal location to base yourself to explore the Dingle Peninsula, close but not too close to busy Dingle Town.
Relaxing tv lounge with extensive DVD library, 47' smart tv, playstation 3, wood burning stove.
We live on a separate part of the building, but always willing to sit and chat with our guests.
Annascaul is a typical small Irish village, one church, two shops, 4 pubs and a post office. Annascaul is home to Antarctic explorer Tom Crean. We are surrounded by hills, which makes Annascaul a Hillwalkers paradise
Annascaul is right in the centre of the Dingle Peninsula, conveniently located on the main bus route from Tralee to Dingle. Free Parking is available at the front of our building.
Our B&B is strictly non smoking. Guests can use our kitchen in the off season with prior notice.
We had a great and very restful night at the Old Anchor. Beata and Brian are perfect hosts, and their breakfast is just a delight!
Thank you a million!
Perfect place for visiting the two peninsulas. Wonderful experience and very helpful. Great breakfasts and perfect pizza! Would definitely recommend the place and the hosts...absolutely charming. Kev and Ros
Brian and Beata are so very kind and welcoming. Our bag had been lost by the airlines, but Brian made it clear we were welcome to go see the region and he'd get our bag to the room when it arrived. We returned late after a gorgeous day exploring the Dingle Peninsula to find out bag waiting by our room. Our room was just as depicted and tidy. Breakfast was great, with a huge selection including full breakfast, lovingly prepared by Brian and Beata themselves. A comfy room and good food are what we expected, but the kindness and care of these hosts topped it all off for me. We'll be staying here again on our next trip to Ireland!
The 6 of us has a wonderful stay with Brian and Beata at the Old Anchor Inn. Brian knew that we were looking forward to hearing some music and made sure that we found some in Annascaul. It was great! The breakfasts were delicious and the rooms were lovely. I loved the feel of the quiet town. I would definitely stay here again Felt like home. Thank you Brian and Beata.
Brian and Beata were simply great. Nice, clean room, delicious Pizza and a big DVD collection as well. Breakfast was very good, too. The B&B is located in Annascaul, which is located 20 minutes by car from Dingle.
One advice: there is no ATM in Annascaul, so if you need cash, you should get it in Dingle.
Bea was a fantastic host for the night we stayed in Annascaul. It's a sleepy village, but perfect for some down time whilst travelling. Bea was really helpful and provided lots of local information that added to our travels. Would definitely recommend this B&B to others!!
Really nice owners! Gave some good advice on local hiking, and also made a delicious breakfast. Really enjoyed the surrounding area, and only wish we had had more time to explore.
Brian and Beata were great hosts. The check in was easy the room was perfect and the food was fabulous. My only two regrets were we didn't stay long enough and I was not able to try Brian's pizza. The location is ideal for exploring Dingle. I would definitely recommend their B and B and I would love to come back for a visit
My family and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Old Anchor Inn. Brian and Beata were cheerful and welcoming and their Inn is comfortable, clean and cozy. We loved their breakfast pancakes and couldn't get enough of Brian's pizza in the evenings. It was the perfect home for exploring the Dingle Peninsula.
Brian and Beata's home is lovely! We enjoyed our accommodations and the great food that they served. It was a special plus that they served pizza for dinner on Good Friday when other options were unavailable. They gave great recommendations for walks and sights to see and provided a relaxing atmosphere with a great movie collection for quiet nights! We would highly recommend this B&B while staying in the Dingle Peninsula.
