This small well laid out space is actually *on* South Congress near the 24 hr Magnolia Cafe. Very convenient to the neighborhood but not too noisy because it is at the very south end of all the excitement and it is in Building 3 which is the second one back from the street next to the pool (You can still see S Congress from your 1st floor patio, but it is a comfortable distance). This unit has two doors, and one of the m opens onto the patio which is right next to the pool.
It can comfortably sleep 1 or 2 in the bedroom area but also includes a small couch which can fold out to a small bed. 3 people is the most I can comfortably host. 4-5 is possible if you bring air mattresses or sleeping bags, and people have found this desirable in the past for being close to SXSW, ACL and other festivals.
Hardwood floors, granite countertops, full kitchen. Simple, comfortable minimal space. See pictures for a better idea, as these are accurate and up to date. All units were remodeled the same way and at the same time.
Rather than describe the neighborhood myself, look at what airbnb has to say about it here!: (https://www.airbnb.com/locations/austin/south-congress). All of the pictures on that page are not only taken in the South Congress area but are actually on South Congress as is this condo!
There is one reserved parking space, and parking is also available on the street. There is always a place to park in my experience. For transit, if you are in the neighborhood, just walk as everything is close! If going downtown, a taxi is probably most practical. Anywhere else, driving is best. There is a bus stop literally in front of the building if you would like to take the buses. Use (website hidden) maps to decide if the bus is practical for your needs - the buses range from absolutely perfect to impossible depending on what you need.
What I like most about my place is the location and that it is well laid out enough to feel like a bigger space. You'd never guess it is only 425 sq ft with a kitchen, living room, bedroom, walk in closet and full bathroom.

Justin was an awesome host and always there if you need anything, even coffee at the local coffee house and a great person to get to know when you are new to Austin. I stayed at his place for a month, fell in love with the area and ended up leasing a permanent place around the same area but definitely within 78704! I wouldn't stay anywhere else and the bar next door is a bonus plus the Magnolia cafe, the barbershop, and SoCo all right there. Thanks Justin! I loved staying there and it was a great place to call home!
Justin was a great host and the apartment was perfect location. Walking distance to downtown, fun shops and excellent restaurants. Highly recommend
Justin is friendly and helpful, and the apartment is clean, perfectly sized and well-located. Thanks for the comfortable stay, Justin!
