Come stay in one of the best buildings in Williamsburg. The building is home to many artists and musicians. Right on the water with amazing views of the city. Great rooftop!!!
The loft is open and airy with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and kitchen. In the room is a queen sized bed and futon. The bedroom can accommodate 3. One queen-sized is a memory foam mattress that will give you the best sleep ever. The bedroom also has huge windows that allow for a great view and tons of sunshine. Enjoy a unique layout with many interesting touches.
If you love to cook (as I do), there are plenty of cooking accessories to use to create your perfect culinary masterpiece. You can easily do this by taking advantage of the farmers market in Union Square that is only a 3 minute train ride away!
The building is a reinvented ex pasta warehouse with tons of charm and tons of charming people. Enjoy meeting many great artists and musicians on the roof, elevator, and in passing in the hallways. Or venture out into the interesting and exciting nightlife of Williamsburg. Close to Diner, Marlow, Traif, Nighthawk, Bedford Avenue, and tons of great shops and restaurants. The city is just a hop skip away by train, bike, cab, or (even better) the water taxi. The closest subways are L and JMZ. The water ferry is conveniently located directly across the street that can take you uptown to 34th St in 15 min or downtown to the South Street Seaport! If you have a zipcar membership there is a lot also across the street that can help you get you to the beach or many other great day trips.
Guests that stay with me are welcome to access all my loft has to offer. The roof is probably the most desired of all of my guests. You will be blown away at the view (after all, it was the selling point for me to live in this particular building). In addition to the roof you will have access to the kitchen and all of the accessories there. I have an Apple TV that is easy to connect to and use. If you are looking for a moment to be a couch potato, the Apple TV is set up with Hulu and Netflix. There is WiFi, a washer and dryer on the floor, and a pretty kick ass sound system if you are inclined to dance.
Also, you will be fortunate to stay with a seamstress (myself), if you find you need a garment alteration or simple repair, you are welcome to ask me to do so (time permitting, and for a small fee... sometimes free)
I truly enjoy hosting and I am happy to help the people that stay with me to try things that I hold dear to my heart. I encourage picking my brain and utilizing my connections that help make Brooklyn and the city an amazing experience.
Not trying to boast here. I also enjoy learning about things that my guests may know and I do not. I appreciate any information on the city that I may find useful that I can pass along to others or use myself.
If you want to tag along on one of my typical adventures, please let me know as you are more than welcome to join!
Everybody loves Williamsburg!!! It has an amazing energy anytime of the year. There is tons to do here and many of my guests insist on staying in Brooklyn because they are impressed with the charm. From great music venues to impressive restaurants, bars, and shops.
The room is the biggest in the already large loft. If you like doing cartwheels you will have plenty of space to do them!

Sadie welcomed us into her home with a bottle of wine to enjoy on the rooftop with a great view to Manhattan, which was a great way to be introduced to NY!
The apartment is in a very cool area full of restaurants and bars (15 min walk from Bedford Station). The room is massive. The only down point is that there's a glass door with a thin curtain only. If you don't mind that it doesn't give you much privacy, then the flat is a great choice.
We really enjoyed staying with Sadie and loved having a few drinks with Sadie and her friend Geoffrey who are great fun and gave us lots of good tips – GO TO THE MET!! We felt very well looked after and we recommend for anyone else to stay here who wants an authentic NY experience.
Sadie's apartment is saweeet! Really enjoyed my week there. Sadie was so nice, really helpful and even got me some fine miso soup when I was ill. Thanks Sadie!
We had a great stay at this beautiful loft and would love to stay again. Sadie was a great host, providing lots of information about where to visit, eat, drink and shop! The location is perfect...we got there easily from Newark airport on the subway and each day we got into Manhattan a different way that was cheap and convenient: 4$ ferry (across the street from the apartment), walking across Williamsburg bridge and renting bikes to bike across Brooklyn Bridge. You should stay there!!
This is a great choice! Let's go through the plusses and the odd minus.
- Sadie is the most knowledgeable helpful and caring hostess, and super generous! Seriously, whether you want more or less help and contact, she's sensitive. She is ridiculously generous, and knows buckets of the restaurant scene all over NYC. She also can get you into some exclusive places.
- The room is huge, and the bed is great as she says.
- The location is a boomer...close to W'burg, and across the road, the 15 min ferry to the city...boom, $4 and you're there...and if you take a cab home at night $20-30 at 2am, time square to your door.
- The roof is magic and the building safe and friendly
Yes the bathroom is small, but the shower is strong and hot. Don't let the share bathroom put you off (and you get good towels)
All-in-all I cant wait to return to hang out here again
Sadie is the best host I could ever imagine.
Staying with her gave me a completely unique perspective of NYC lifestyle.
Her place is also AMAZING, super well located in the coolest area of NYC (forget Manhattan, Billyburg is the real thing) and HUGE for the city's parameters. The private room is super cozy with a comfortable bed, a sofa and a lot of cute decoration items makes it feel like home.
After staying with Sadie, I want to move to NYC. Those days are never going to be forgotten!
Staying at Sadie's apartment was one of the best things we decided to do in NY. Aptmnt was great, the building and especially the rooftop. Everything is clean and organized. You could spend whole day on that rooftop. It's close to Bedford Ave (the center street in Williamsburg), subway station and the ferry. Nightlife, clubs, restaurants and shops are also close. Recomend going to Output club. 20 min by walk.
In the end, don't wanna forget Sadie. She made our vacation in NY rising one level up. :))) We met true NYC.
