Hi Jason, thank you for your feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed the house. I guess during this raining season (April to September) we do get a lot of storms and unfortunately the day that you arrived and the past 3 consecutive days before your arrival there were a at least 3-4 storms which has lead to the washed up of garbage on the Tanjung Rhu beach. Of course this does not happen very often even during the raining season. The gush of wind and rain will have it's day and then its usually calm again. But thankfully we do have the municipal workers who comes and clean the beach daily, but of course when you have high tide at night, and then a storm, there will be some washed up rubbish in the morning before the workers come and clears it.
As for the boat tour, as I have explained, it is a 2 hours tour, but if guest chooses to skip some of the places that is on the list for personal reasons, then of course that is by choice and the tour will be shorter. A few previous guests and myself have taken the tour and they have enjoyed it. I would not have recommend it otherwise. Of course with what has happened with your trip, the tour operators and I are making enhancements to make sure if such thing happens again we would have a contingency plan, i.e. divert to other place to visit and to ensure that the boat captains are more aware of guests' requests.
In any case, than you again for the feedback and we will be working on making the tour, and the house better in the future.
