Great place and Stanley is a great host. The place felt like home and the neighborhood is well served by great restaurants and shopping within walking distance.
Stanley was helpful in giving tips on how to speak English properly. Bernice his wife helped when possible. The location of the house is perfect, the bed is not good (I had a stiff neck in the early days). In any month that there we no time our room was clean, never changed the linens or bath towels (negative). However evaluate as an ok experience. One thing that I found really bad is that the house is cold, and still bind in the cold air.
Actually, Tami & her friend were upgraded to the HEART room as an accommodation so the bed in question was not in the COMFORTABLE room. I am disappointed that she did not like the bed as everyone, including myself, raves how comfortable it is. Under the title 'House Rules' it is clearly stated that we do not clean or change any linens & housekeeping service is not guranteed but is a possible service when available for towel washing, etc.. I also explained that extra towels & linen are available in the linen closets should one need to use same. Perhaps the language barrrier was part of the problem & I shall make it more clear for others in the writeup (but her friend did speak quite good English). The room writeup requests that guests relate to me what they need to make their stay a great experience & I make it a point to tell them that upon arrival. I am sorry the house was cold for you, Tami, but if you had communicated to me what you needed for greater comfort, I would have been pleased to help you. I hope that your stay in LA proves fruitful.
This was my first booking through airbnb and I must say it turned out pretty well. Stanley and Bernice are amazing hosts. Very caring and considerate. Bernice even prepared dinner for us and took me to market. You don't even have to ask as they are always ready to help. Room is spacious, well decorated and clean. Shelves and dining table was always full with goodies. Location was amazing. Sitting in the heart of beverly hills with everything at walking distance. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely like to book again.
Stanley was a great host and all-round great guy. This was my first Airbnb experience and he made it a great one. He even went to extra lengths to help my out by recommending auto insurance for me which was a great help. He was friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
Stanley's place is in a great location, close to all the Beverly Hills shops and restaurants (only a 15 minute walk).
The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable, not much more you can ask for.
This is a great spot for seeing LA!
Stanley was the perfect host when I was in town for a wedding at the Beverly Wilshire. His home is warm, inviting and in the perfect location. He was also extremely accommodating and tentative - going as far as tracking my flight to know exactly when I would be arriving! As well, the room was clean, spacious and exactly as it was advertised. I would stay here again and recommend this rental to anyone visiting the Beverly Hills area. Walking distance to everything. Furthermore, Stanley was so friendly, I would have loved to have more time to spend with him!

Although I have a CA real estate license, I prefer hiking, biking and roller blading at the beach or just hanging out-can you blame me? I am world travelled, I love the USA, and I am a transplanted New Yorker who has grown roots here in BH. I enjoy theatre, especially musicals: Silence The Musical (awesome spoof of Silence of the Lambs), Xanadu, Jeykyl and Hyde, Avenue Q, etc., museums, dining, nature hikes, snow skiing, reading, food channels, survival reality shows and Hotel Impossible are some of my interests. Consider me down to earth and easy going along with my NY energy! I am considerate and dependable. As your host, I wish to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
