Pat was a gracious and helpful host. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The accommodations were clean, spacious and quiet.
She is a very sweet lady and giving good advice on what to see around town. The room was very warm and clean and private.
She makes a delicious dinner of round steak and potatoes when asked if she could make a Texas style dinner for you.
She always had coffee ready for you in the morning.
Her home is very neat and clean. Highly recommended.
What a wonderful host, home, and view!! Patricia had everything ready and was so awesome. We very much enjoyed our stay. Her dogs (there was a visiting pup) were adorable and nice and I loved the puppy snuggles I got in :). One of my favorite things was the fact that she had brochures aplenty and we were able to easily find things to see for our two day trip. We HIGHLY recommend staying here!
A wonderful host who went out of her way to make me feel at home. Patricia and her dog became a valued part of my time in Colorado Springs, and I would easily recommend her to anyone. The whole house was as advertised, and the room was clean too.
I think this was a great place, wonderful quiet neighborhood and Patricia was a terrific host. AND she has a darling mellow dog, Gus who I think all fall in love with. The downstairs bedroom and bath was perfect with lots of light and a cute patio. The bed also was super comfy. Has a desk for your computer and 2 other places to sit besides the bed. This is a very large bedroom which was tastefully decorated and all was very clean. I plan to be back next year for longer time!
Pat is a great host and very accommodating. She made our stay easy and comfortable. The room is large, private, and has a lot of natural light. Pat's house is centrally located with very easy access to shops, places to eat, attractions, etc. We stayed at Pat's while dropping our son off at college. We plan to book with her for parents weekend and every time we visit our son.
The reservation was canceled 15 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
About the Host, Patricia
I'm a retired nurse, mother and grandmother (not retired!!). Transplanted from Dallas-yes, Texas, 8 years ago to spend time with my grandchildren. I love meeting new people and sharing in their lives. I volunteer in assisting others through life crises, having been through a few of my own. I maintain my interest in nursing through spiritual care at a nursing facility. I am also on the board of directors of the town home association here.
My faithful companion, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Gus, has been with me for 6 years. He knows all the neighbors by the treats they provide him. My passion is reading everything from Ann Voskamp to Lee Child (Jack Reacher!!!) My pleasures are living close to my family, reading, water aerobics, happy hour with friends and opening my home and heart to new friends. I have achieved a life of tranquility in the mountains surrounded by my beautiful trees and Colorado sunshine and would love to share it with you.
