One bedroom condo at Sun Harbor on St. Pete Beach overlooks a beautiful cove off the Intracoastal aterway with Public Beach Access just across the street, where pristine, white sand & warm Gulf waters await you! Centrally located in the middle of everything, but seems worlds away.
This condo was recently remodeled with an updated kitchen that is open to the living area. In the living room, there is a tranquil view of the intracoastal waterway, a big comfortable couch and a flat screen TV. The unit also has new laminate flooring, king size bed, and a remodeled bathroom. Just off the living area is a patio that leads to walkway where you can stroll along the waterway, toss a line, or watch dolphins and manatees play.
There are two day docks available for residents' use.
The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. Frequently, manatees and dolphins swim in the cove, and there's little boat traffic. Walk 1/2 m south to the world-famous Don CeSar Resort, where DiMaggio and Monroe once strolled and it is rumored Mick Jagger wrote "Sympathy for the Devil." A 1/2 mile north the Dolphin Village Shopping Center has a Publix, CVS Pharmacy and many other shops and boutiques.
The local transit authority has a trolley that takes you from the southern end of PassAGrille to North Clearwater Beach & downtown St. Pete. Also, Island Ferry Boat Tours provides a ferry service to bring you to downtown St. Pete from the beaches for $25 round trip! This new service coordinates their schedule with Free Beach Rides, which is very popular with the locals, to make your sightseeing outing a breeze!
Other Things to Note
Downtown St. Pete boasts the Dali Museum, the only permanent Dale Chilhuly exhibit, Museums of History & Fine Arts, the historic Vinoy Renaissance Hotel. Also, it is home to the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team and Rowdies soccer team. The Mahaffey Theatre was used for auditions for TV's "America's Got Talent," and is host to traveling Broadway theatre (website hidden). Pete Beach and surrounding areas have been used as "shooting locations" for the movies "Cocoon," "Summer Rental," and "Spring Breakers."
Non-smoking condo. Pets under 50 pounds are allowed with additional $50 cleaning fee.
Location was great. Anything you might need pretty close by. This unit (# 106) was on the end and had a nice view of the canal. We saw dolphins, rays, & manatees. Some of the other units views are blocked when boats are docked but the docks in front of this unit are day docks only (we never had a boat docked there and were there for a month).
Although the complex is on a major road, it is (generally) very quiet. Large for a 1 bedroom with access to full closet and dresser. Sofa and king bed had significant indentations that made them uncomfortable. Limited number of bath towels that all need to be replaced.
We had a plumbing issue that was addressed fairly quickly. However one of the other (minor) issues was not addressed at all.
Condo was better than expected and had everything we needed and then some!
Right across the street from a bar and the beach
Walgreens and a bank within walking distance
Easiest check in n out
Cannot wait to go back!
This unit was beautiful and perfectly located in St. Pete Beach. It was wonderful to sit outside and see manatees and dolphins! We would definitely stay here again.
Waterfront - a beautiful way to relax to stay in a atmosphere like a dream. We had a great time in a quiet, clean and really good house. Our host were extremly helpful and friendly.
Thanks a lot.
Great unit! Clean and conveniently located, this is the perfect place to stay in St. Pete Beach. This is our second time dealing with Beach Time and never had an issue. Thanks again for everything.
We had a lovely stay at this location. The beach access was directly across the road. The CVS, grocery store, and liquor store were an easy 10 minute walk up the street. The unit was very clean and away from the noisy street. The kitchen was furnished with dishes, pots/cooking utensils, and some basic cupboard staples. We enjoyed the small patio facing the inner waterway. Our only negative comments are that the king bed is a little tired with a dip in the middle and that you could hear footsteps in the unit above. We would recommend this unit to others.
Thank you for making me aware of these issues - We hosts never really know about this stuff unless our tenants tell us. I will be sure to investigate the problems and hopefully resolve them (though, to be honest, I'm not sure if there's much that I can do about the footsteps above). Please give me a call the next time you're in St. Pete Beach!
