the house is located approximately 6 short blocks to both the Damen & Division Blue Line stops.public transportation here is very efficient, fast and runs 24hrs. also, taxis/ uber are not very pricey if you chose that option.

Stephanie was a perfect host--friendly and down-to-earth and offered me tea and snacks upon arrival. The apartment is full of charm and the room and bed were warm and comfortable--perfect for mid-February in Chicago. The neighborhood is also great--good options for food and drink nearby on Division. I know others have complained about the proximity of the train stations, but I thought the 0.7 mile walk to Damen-O'Hare felt easy and manageable--even in the dead of winter.
We had a wonderful stay at the urban oasis. Stephanie was a very gracious, knowledgeable and easy going host. Her home is creative and welcoming. Her two little kitties were absolutely adorable (obviously) and quite well behaved. The neighborhood is a great base for urban explorers. Great walking, convenient public transportation and Stephanie's knowledge will make your stay fun and interesting. We hope to return!
Stephanie is great great host, made us feel like home, she always have great conversation topics and awesome suggestions for cool places.
Stephanie is wonderful.
Her house is clean and beautiful.
The bed is really comfortable. She prepared clean towels. She served me delicious cookies. I really enjoyed my stay.
I didn't care but the house is a little far from train stations. However, I recommend her house.
Thank you Stephanie.
I'm totally satisfied.
Stephanie was a gracious host, her apartment clean, comfortable and very convenient to the restaurants and attractions in wicker park and surroundings. I would definitely go back when next in chicago.
I didn't actually end up staying here because when I arrived I realized how far it actually was from the train, and from the area I would need to be in for my job. I told Stephanie this, and agreed to pay her for my stay anyway, because of the late cancellation. I also was a little thrown by the fact that her boyfriend lives there, which she didn't mention. The room is separated from the main apartment, in what seems like it might have one point been a storage closet. The house smelled pretty heavily of incense, and was generally not quite as warm and welcoming as I'd hoped.
i really do not know what to say other than the fact that Thea was here for approximately 5 minutes, changed her plans multiple times during the course of communicating with her and well i am sorry she doesn't like the smell of incense (that yes, i was burning at the time). clearly best for her to stay at a hotel.
I enjoyed my time here. The house was pleasant and relaxed with great artwork. The bedroom was cozy. The location was great. The house was near to a lot of the places I wanted to go and close to the blue line for the rest of the places. Steph was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Steph's puppy was pretty adorable and very playful.

creative Chicago native with an amazing space to share. been hosting via Airbnb for well over 3 yrs now and absolutely love it. an avid traveler myself, i very much enjoy meeting new people and helping guests get the most out of their time here as I have been in my own travels.
On a hiatus from interior design consulting,.. I am an artist and a quiet extrovert.
This space is a very special home with a serene and peaceful quality about it that happens to be in the center of the Wicker Park/Ukrainian village happenings. I love it here and thus far, most everyone who has stayed does as well!!
