My second time staying in this wonderful apartment felt just like coming home. Everything went smoothly, the terrace is as lovely as ever, and I am already looking forward to my next visit.

My own wi-fi router, big terrace, located in pretty much central Delhi, this was perfect for me. As good as the pictures show. Daily housekeeping except Sundays, which is a bonus. For this price in central Delhi, the place is highly recommended

This terrace studio was a lovely spot to stay at in a great neighborhood of Delhi. The studio was very clean and having the terrace to sit out on was great. The hosts Sid and Kelly were fabulous and attentive.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this listing or Ben as a host. The apartment is in a state of neglect and is not well represented by the photos. There is a building under construction next door, and the daily sounds of power tools and the gazes of construction workers through our window made our stay less peaceful than we had hoped. (After some back-and-forth, we were permitted to stay a night free of charge, which was appreciated). However, the main problem is the way Ben manages his listings through convoluted external websites; this led to misunderstandings about our arrival and during our stay. There seems to be a communicative disjunct between Ben (who we did not meet) and Sid (who runs the property and lives downstairs). The "house manual" website, which we were unable to access before our arrival, contains an overwhelming 53 separate pages (including one called "The Ten Worst Kinds of Travelers"). Its passive-aggressive tone made us feel like our very presence was a burden, when in fact wading through the bureaucracy of this listing places the real burden on whomever chooses to stay here.

Response from Ben, Prachi & Brampal:
Our online house manual, is like a travel or a recipe book or a dictionary. If you don't need a section or a recipe, you just don't have to read it. You read what you wish to read as not all the 53 sections concern the studio where you stayed. You could satisfy yourself with just 1 page: The one with how the hot water/Ac work... And maybe the one for directions and map, and one for the transportation you can take to reach us. The rest concern our other listings and advices like: security, what to visit, what to eat, shop... we made our house manual like a Delhi guide. /// We were kind enough to change your booking dates when we have no obligation to do it. We gave you one night free when we had no obligation to do it, specially when we see your review. (When you don't like a restaurant food, why taking the free desert?) Opportunism? /// You are not using, as a host, Airbnb since 4 years to know that giving a detailed house manual directly via Airbnb makes is very difficult to read. That is why our manual is given outside in a more readable way, with a search engine and keywords. // You kept complaining that we have not clarified this or that information to you. All is in the house manual. (From how to open the door to where to iron your clothes...) It is a complete guide, take what you wish from, so we don't hear complain that an information is missing. When a person has no access to internet via a phone or computer, we are always happy to send some part of the manual by email, which we did for you. We could not send you all the sections as we don't know what you really need. Most of the travelers are very independent and resourceful so they don't need to know a lot. When they need help, the traveler needs to ask us and we will be happy to reply. /// Since we can't be in Nizamuddin East 365 days a year, (we have a life, work and also travel), obviously, we have to be several co-hosts to make sure someone is always present for the traveler. I don't manage anything, Sid, Kelly, Prachi, me and Brampal are all the co-hosts and all our travelers have met one or more of us. And all have access to the communication you had with us. Constructions happen all around India and it is not something permanent. Works are almost over. Sorry, if you were not able to identify what to read in the house manual despite the clear INDEX we set up. We will work more on it. At the end, we will be happy to add your case as the 11th worst traveler and will be more careful to avoid such profile. We are not a newbie hosts and most of the travelers are happy with our efforts in setting an exhaustive house manual to help the traveler. // All this is just to make the Delhi experience easy for travelers often having lot of questions and worries coming in a new city/country. I, Ben, also experienced this 8 years ago when I landed first time in Delhi. And I would have loved to have a host welcoming me with a lot of advises to not be lost.

That terrasse really is as good as in the photos. Great location, super safe neighborhood, and very green. only downside was the construction in the building next door. the hosts were both wonderful. will be knocking on their door next time i'm in the city.

The place was exactly as described, clean, orderly and with a lovely terrace a and great view! The hosts were responsive when we contacted them, and invisible when we wanted space. We had no problem entering and leaving the building at any hour and felt extremely safe in the neighborhood. Would stay again and recommend to friends for sure!

Ben, Prachi & Brampal User ProfileBen, Prachi & Brampal is a superhost.

We have traveled to more than 50 countries till now and we understand that coming to India is a wonderful experience that should not be spoiled by dirty or unsafe, not comfortable accommodations. Full of people trying to get each Rupee you have in your pocket.

Ben is French with Arabic and Spanish roots, Prachi is Indian originally from Maharashtra (Mumbai/Bombay state).

We have also a listing in Hawaii, you will be welcomed by our friends Tony and Darweshi (On the Hawaii listing pictures). The reviews show enough that it is a great place :)

We have several listings on our profile, they are from our own house and other from the houses of friends that we know they will provide you what we write on the profile's space. Each place offers something different.

Please, check our listings, we have more places.

At our place, you are between good hands. We know what a traveler expects and our flat is providing it.

You will not be in a bed and breakfast, hotel or guest house, but you will be our "short or long term flatmate" where you can feel like home.

For an area like ours, our prices are very reasonable because we are not doing profit!

Before, we used to find flat mates via the social network or this or that online group list. They were staying with us for short or long period. Airbnb is simply an alternative way to find the same flat mates, but from all around the world!

We are centrally located in Delhi, in a historical place full of monuments and facilities for the transportation and you can't imagine, how peaceful and safe it is 24 hours a day.

Same thing in our house in Pune, we are also centrally located, close to Osho.

A Prepaid Auto rickshaw both is few minutes from home, you will never get cheated by them while leaving our place :-) so you start your day with a peace of mind, without bargaining.

We can have conversations together and with our friends of the day, we have time where you can ask us questions, We love to reply to them. We are here to make you enjoy your first or last moment in your Indian Experience.

The calendar of each room is up to date, if you see it is available, it is really available. So you can book with peace of mind, your request will be accepted.
