Art & Hospitality
PrimoPiano (300sm) is a place where artists can not only exhibit their works but even live together with the owners and "turists" to fully experience the city and its pulsations. Thus HomeGallery doesn’t betray the word, it’s a real Home with places to stay. Rooms have been conceived to host both people and ideas.
The Gallery (exhibition area of 100 sq metres) and the 3 rooms in the name of Diane Nemerov Arbus, Pier Paolo Pasolini and Francis Bacon, are in the historical building Palazzo Ruffo di Castelcicala (1690). Primo Piano is a place where the architecture and decoration of the past are linked to the present with new architectural and design touches. PrimoPiano is in Via Foria, one of he most beautifull street of the old town, very close to the Madre (Museum of contemporary Art), from the National Archeological Museum, from Real Orto Botanico, and close to the Cathedral of San Gennaro, Patron Saint of Naples, famous for the miracle of the liquefaction of the blood which takes place twice a year. Close the Cathedral the Museum of the Tesoro di San Gennaro, with the reachest collection of jewls of the world. Very close to PrimoPiano the two lines of the underground easyily reachable wolking in few minutes. All around PrimoPiano is full of restaurants, pizzerias, cantinas, some of them very famous for fish food ad Zuppa o Impepata di cozze (mussels).
I is also very easy to reach the Railway Station and the airport.
We will be very happy to walcome you in the city with more than two thousand years of history.
I had a very short but very comfortable stay in Naples. My room at PrimoPiano was creatively and beautifully furnished and very comfortable. I immediately felt at home.
As hosts they could not have done more to make me feel welcome, giving me some suggestions of places to see, providing a delicious breakfast in the gallery surroundings and even allowing me to leave my bags in storage for the day after checking out!
I would thoroughly recommend this place.
We had a great stay - the apartment is beautiful and very cool and quirky and in a good location. Massimo gave us some great tips for places to eat and drink and I would def stay here again in Naples!
We loved Massimo's place - very quirky and artistic, he created a very special space.
It is in a good location - walking distance to Metro Dante and National Archeological Museum. We arrived much later than scheduled. He was very caring and gracious, an excellent host! Highly recommended.
The room is beautiful and the property well located close to the historical center. Massimo has been a really pleasant and welcoming host. A wonderful stay in Napoli
Massimo and Antonio welcomed us very well. They are very pleasant and helpful. They are passionate about art and mainly the photos. It was another part very interesting for our stay and you can feel it inside their beautiful and original apartment. Their apartment is very well located, in the heart of Naples. We hope to come back one day in this place. I recommend these great hosts !!!
Very nice People, very nice place. We'll come back as soon as possible.
Amazing place and great hosts ;) thank you for an enjoyable stay, Will be back !
A beautiful tranquil place to stay in a city that can be hectic. Historic building with grand proportions, stylish personal interiors in all the rooms and best of all lovely hosts. Massimo and Antonio are both immersed in the culture of Napoli and this is the perfect place to stay if you want to connect to Naples past and it's contemporary artistic scene. Although very busy preparing for a photographic exhibition in a few days, our hosts were always very gracious, finding the time to chat to us and deepening our understanding of their compelling city. The location is very convenient and there are lots of nice cafés and restaurants. We totally recommend staying here.
We spent a wonderful time at Massimo's place. His apartment is unique, arty and decorated with very good taste. He has created a haven of peace in the middle of the noisy and chaotic city of Naples (personally I love this city!). Massimo is a very interesting person, is a pity that we didn't have enough time to chat with him. Don't be worry if you read negatives commentaries about the safety of the neighborhood, you don't have to be more careful than in the rest of the city.
I will definitely recommend Massimo's apartment.
