    A good contemporary Chinese restaurant on the 5th floor rooftop of the Emperor Hotel. The restaurant has an enormous rooftop seating area with amazing views of the Forbidden City and the area around.

    A pristine, peaceful and not-too-crowded Beijing historical site on a beautiful tree-lined street. This site is definitely worth stopping by. Guozijian was the center of Chinas exam system.

    Probably the most famous temple in Beijing. Originally built in 1694, in the mid-18th century it became the home for many Tibetan and Mongolian monks and has remained so until now.
