The Space

This is a charming studio apartment with full-sized bed, couch, bathroom with tub, and kitchen. I put this up when I'm going to be gone, so this will be all yours.

This apartment's location on the west side is extremely convenient. Less than fifteen minutes' walking distance to State St. or to the Capitol. Two blocks from Lake Monona. About twenty minutes to the university. Close to bars, groceries (Copps is a nice lake-side 10-15 minute bike ride away, and the Capitol Center Market is within ten blocks), CVS, and more. It is also close to bus stops.

The neighborhood is safe and charming, and the building is quiet. The sun comes into my side of the building.

You're welcome to use my bed, couch, or air mattress. Three people is definitely tight in the home.

Arrangements will be made to transfer the key(s).

Note: There is no yet wi-fi, and parking is not available in front of the building. Free weekend street parking is available, and two hour parking weekdays before six. Washer and dryer are just one floor down, and they are coin-operated.

  • Julie's place was just what I was looking for: close to the University as well as good places to eat, drink, and shop. It was a good base for exploring the town and getting myself set up. Everything I needed was in easy walking distance.

Julie herself was very accommodating, too. She kept in close contact via email and phone and always answered questions promptly.

School of Science and Technology, Ithaca College
Grad student at University of Wisconsin-Madison. For guests: I am not as into being a "hotel" for you as I am offering my home to you. Thus I don't do things like offer bagels or other such luxuries, but I do offer my home and hopefully a great and very affordable place to stay. For hosts: I am a former (website hidden) host (when I lived in China after college) and a current AirBnB host, am respectful and rarely get the opportunity to travel due to my busy schedule. I'm likely to be out and about exploring the city when I do get the chance.
