This spacious and private duplex apartment is in a very quiet neighborhood, centrally located near amenities and all the fun Corvallis has to offer. Located in a walking neighborhood close to campus, downtown, the hospital, grocery stores, and the tech firms.

It has a private backyard, a large family room, a kitchen, W/D, A/C, wifi, smart TV (with Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, and more), a supportive queen bed, comfortable sofa bed (no crossbar), and a daybed that can pull out to make a king.

The space
One-bedroom attached home. It is spacious, clean, and comfortable. It is located in a quiet area with a private back yard. Washer and dryer in the unit. There are heat pump/ac units and ceiling fans in the bedroom and family room. It has a queen bed in the bedroom. In the family room we have a twin/king convertible daybed, and a new sleeper sofa with firm memory foam mattress and no bar (very comfortable). We also have a portable crib.

This is a family friendly space, we have toys for kids, some games, and several books.

We offer a yoga mat and roller.

With the day bed pulled out, we are able to sleep 6, plus a port-a-crib. We can also offer a single air mattress.

The space is really ideal for a family of 4 or less, but 6 will fit.

Guest access
Guests have their own, private access to the entire apartment with a private kitchen, bathroom, entrance, laundry, and backyard.

Other things to note
We installed ductless heat pumps in the bedroom and family room. With ceiling fans in the main rooms and the heat pumps (which also air condition), the place stays quite comfortable in hot or cold weather.

We have a covered bike rack in back, and there're a lot of bike lanes in town, so bring your bicycles with you.

We have a new on-demand water heater, so you won't run short of hot water. However, the bath faucet at full blast does not warm up. If you want to take a bath, run the water at a lower output level. The shower faucet heats up very well.

Small desk and spacious kitchen table can be used as a work space.

We have some edible landscaping! Feel free to pick some if it's ripe!

Neighborhood highlights

Our neighborhood is a mile away from OSU campus, 2 miles from downtown, and close to restaurants and shopping. It is a nice, laid-back residential neighborhood, and Beca Avenue is great for foot and bike traffic. Neighbors are friendly and are often found out in their yards, taking care of their properties.

My wife and I are both teachers. We have enjoyed hosting since 2016. We enjoy gardening, time in nature, playing in the mountains and at the coast. We are social people, but we like the privacy aspect of our rental (for you and for us). We are happy to respect whatever privacy level you prefer, but we're also here to help you out in whatever way we can. We are developing and growing lots of edibles around the property (which you're welcome to enjoy if they're ready).
