About This Listing
Two bedroom condo at Sun Harbor on St. Pete Beach overlooks a beautiful cove off the Intracoastal Waterway with Public Beach Access just across the street, where pristine, white sand & warm Gulf waters await you! Centrally located in the middle of everything, but seems worlds away.
The remodeled condo has an updated kitchen that is open to the living area. In the living room, there is a tranquil view of the Intracoastal Waterway, a big comfortable couch and a flat screen TV. The unit also has new laminate flooring, king size bed, and a remodeled bathroom. This space can comfortably accommodate up to six people and has both inside and outside dining areas with outstanding views.
There are two day docks available for residents' use.
The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. Frequently, manatees and dolphins swim in the cove, and there's little boat traffic. Walk 1/2 m south to the world-famous Don CeSar Resort, where DiMaggio and Monroe once strolled and it is rumored Mick Jagger wrote "Sympathy for the Devil." A 1/2 mile north the Dolphin Village Shopping Center has a Publix, CVS Pharmacy and many other shops and boutiques.
The local transit authority has a trolley that takes you from the southern end of PassAGrille to North Clearwater Beach & downtown St. Pete. Also, Island Ferry Boat Tours provides a ferry service to bring you to downtown St. Pete from the beaches for $25 round trip! This new service coordinates their schedule with Free Beach Rides, which is very popular with the locals, to make your sightseeing outing a breeze!
Other Things to Note
Downtown St. Pete boasts the Dali Museum, the only permanent Dale Chilhuly exhibit, Museums of & Fine Arts, the historic Vinoy Renaissance Hotel, and world class restaurants. Also, it is home to the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team and Rowdies soccer team. The Mahaffey Theatre was used for auditions for TV's "America's Got Talent," and is host to traveling Broadway theatre (website hidden). Pete Beach and surrounding areas have been used as "shooting locations" for the movies "Cocoon," "Summer Rental," and "Spring Breakers." Also, located in the Tradewinds Island Grand Resort is an art gallery featuring the works of the Guy Harvey, marine wildlife artist and conservationist. His depictions of sealife, especially of sportfish such as marlin, are very popular with sport fishermen and have been reproduced in prints.
No Smoking. Pets allowed (under 50 pounds) with $50 pet fee.
Condo is as beautiful in person as in the photos posted on AIRBNB. It is clean, and attractively decorated. You are are provided with every amenity imaginable, from plenty of fresh towels, to games and books, hairdryers, even an extra inflatable mattress and a basket of snacks. We all look forward to coming back again soon.
This condo is great. Clean, bright and roomy. Has everything you need and more. Even has beach stuff- chairs, small umbrella and foam noodles to float in the beautiful warm gulf. Sleeping arrangements are a bit tight for 6 adults. Adults with kids would be fine.
The location is very convenient. Had close by beach access and plenty of great restaurants and shops. The building looks very unassuming but don't be fooled. The view is wonderful. While having coffee on the balcony in the morning we saw a mama manatee with her baby, dolphins, herons, stingrays flying out of the water and multiple other water fowl and fish.
We had an issue with the TV remote. Paul came right over and then offered us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. The garbage disposal got clogged up and the service for that was not quite as responsive. They couldn't get over so we had a sink full of black smelly water and could not use the dishwasher because it backed into the sink. We were getting ready to leave so this was a bit of an inconvenience but in the big scheme-not a big deal.
If you need any sort of back support, the mattress in the master is not for you. It is very very soft. After 8 nights we are a little stiff.
But - We would love to stay here again and hopefully will.
I am sorry for your issue with the garbage disposal. As soon as you called into our office late in the afternoon yesterday we put in a call to our maintenance team but unfortunately they couldn't make it until the morning when you were checking out. Sometimes these things happen and they are unfortunate but we always try to fix any issues as quickly as possible.
The reservation was canceled 40 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Host was super helpful! They organised an extra roll out bed at request. The neighbours were quiet or absent and we never had any problems with noise. Overall our experience was wonderful. We would love to come back again next year.
This was a fantastic unit. It was clean, centrally located and fully equipped. We would love to stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
We came down to St. Pete Beach to get married and this condo worked perfectly. It is a beautiful and clean condo with a great view over the causeway. We were centrally located to other friends and family who were staying at various locations on Gulf Blvd. Beach Time Realty was great to work with! We will be back :)
