About this listing
Our guests have best described the Sky Suite for us: serene, perfect, private, awesome, accommodating, amazing and the “ideal spot”. Come see for yourself, we would love to have you!
Welcome to Boise!
When you book the Sky Suite you will have private access to a cheery upstairs bedroom which includes a beautiful view of the foothills, queen size bed, day trundle bed, walk-in closet, and your own personal hot springs - our geothermal tub and shower! Other amenities provided are a coffee maker, sound system, mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast foods generally include yogurt, granola, bread and fruit. Wifi and parking are provided, and a shared washer and dryer accessible down the stairs. Outside in the yard enjoy our grill, garden and backyard chickens!
We are located less than two miles from downtown Boise where you can tour the Capital, stroll the farmer’s market, attend a BSU football game, shop until you drop, and party all night. It is also a ten minute commute via public transportation which stops one minute away from our doorstep. We are a five minute walk to the greenbelt which leads straight downtown.
The Sky Suite is just off of the Historical Warm Springs street where you will have the pleasure of viewing fancy geothermal heated mansions- including our neighbor’s castle! Across Warm Springs from us is the M&W market and Trolley House to meet all your appetite’s needs. Within a ten minute walk you can hike the foothills, play tennis at the Quarry view park, tour the Old Penitentiary, swim at the Natatorium, golf at the Warms Springs Golf Club and meditate at the Botanical Gardens.
We look forward to meeting you. We will feel most comfortable booking with folks who have developed profiles. Children over one year of age are considered additional guests. We do provide a baby gate and pack-and-play. Also, returning guests will be offered 10% off all future bookings.
Jeff and Allicia
Guests have private access to their room and bathroom and shared access to the downstairs laundry. For long term guests we can also explore sharing our kitchen. We also welcome guests to enjoy the covered porch, yard, garden and chickens.
Interaction with Guests
We interact with our guests in varying ways depending on the purpose of their stay. We often bring guests into our home and host a meal together - especially if they clearly say that they are looking to connect with a local or re-locate to Boise. We have become quite close to some previous guests who have moved to Boise. Other times we give our guests complete privacy and simply check in periodically to see if they need anything. Rarely we will be out of town when guests book, which has worked out great every time for both them and us.
Other Things to Note
We have some wonderful family friends of ours staying with us for a temporary time. Their names are Guy and Joanna with their four-year old son, Nico. They stay in a very separate, part of the house from the sky suite. There is no reason that their presence should affect your stay, and if you do bump into them, consider yourself lucky because they are delightful! You can find a picture of them if you click through our profile collection.
Shoes off at the door please. Sorry, no smoking, drugs, or heavy drinking. No pets in the house, but we do have a fenced yard and heated cellar (with dog door) and garage for them to reside.
Our family of 3 (2 adults, 1 teenager) thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at the Keefe's. The room is attractive, clean and chocked full of amenities to inform your stay in the area and accommodate any item you might have left behind. The space was roomy enough for 3 to relax and we slept well on the 2 comfortable beds. We especially appreciated the thoughtful snacks and breakfast items. Yum! Highly recommended!
As always, my stay at the East End Sky Suite did not disappoint! Allicia and Jeff are such wonderful hosts, and the Sky Suite's beds are super comfy, the rooms are clean and bright, and the tub is a dream...even in the high heat that Boise was experiencing during our stay. The a/c was working super-hard, and combined with the ceiling fan, we were comfortable in spite of temps high in the 100's. I always look forward to staying here whenever I'm in Boise. It just feels like home away from home!
What can I say other than that I echo all of what others have said. This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Boise. Allicia and Jeff are super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They even put up with my dog who thinks that he owns the garage and can bark at the true owner.
As for the place. Access through the side yard via the garage makes it easy and private. You walk upstairs to a large bright room with a bed, trundle bed, table, and recliner. Also included is a little fridge, microwave, coffee maker, full utensils and a stocked pantry area. They were kind enough to provide coffee, hard boiled eggs (from their chickens!), granola, tea, bread, and more. Way better than a continental breakfast. Pro tip: take advantage of the geothermal tub and soak in some bubbles!
The area is great. 1.3 miles from downtown. 1.3 blocks from the foothill trails or river greenbelt bike path.
Our third stay at Sky Suite was superb!! JP was thrilled to find a new addition to the suite - a comfy recliner !! He also enjoyed a couple glasses of wine after a 14 hour drive!!! The hot springs tub was my
relaxer!! We also enjoy meeting the children each year!! Love this place!!
What a wonderful oasis! Allicia and Jeff were so welcoming, and the Sky Suite was a perfect getaway. The room was spacious and so bright, with lovely views, and the bathtub was amazing. It was perfect for soaking.
Allicia stocked the room with wonderful goodies--all in all, it was a fantastic place to stay. I can't wait to return.
Great stay! Allicia was very accommodating with our 1 year old daughter. She put a baby gate at the top of the stairs, set up a pack n play, and let us use her stroller and toys. The sky suite was spacious and had everything we needed. The location was very convenient to downtown and the airport too!
Allicia is a great host who made sure that our stay was very comfortable at her family's Sky Suite. She packed the breakfast pantry with very fresh fruits, cereals, energy bars, chocolate, greek yogurt etc. The best part about our stay at the sky suite was the location. The house is in a very beautiful neighborhood called warm springs and nothing can beat the location when you are walk-able minutes to great bike trails, hike trails, boise river, greenbelt and most importantly have geothermal water for bath in the house. We had a great time while in Boise and Allicia's sky suite was an icing on the cake.
I have informed Allicia that we would like to stay at her house next time we are in Boise.
