Sylvies place is fantastic if you want to relax and recharge. Sylvie is a great host and she provides everything in her place what you need during your stay. The apartment is really close to Paia where you can go for some good food and nice bars. We already have decided to come back to this little piece of paradise. Thank you so much!
What a gem! Sylvie was very thorough in her directions and we had everything we needed. A full kitchen, bathroom, comfortable bed, and huge private deck. Haiku is the way to go when you want to experience the true Hawaii vibe and Sylvie's bungalow was the cherry on top. Thanks for the hospitality!
The pictures and description are very accurate. It is a wonderful little place tucked into the edge of the jungle! I was lulled to sleep every night by crickets and woke every morning to incredible birds song. The studio is very comfortable for two and has everything you need except the food! My daughter and I stayed there for 2 weeks and would love to go back. The location being very near Pa'ia was very handy. We fell in love with the little town and everything it has to offer. Pa'ia Bay Cafe makes the most delicious organic food and coffee. And shopping for groceries at Mana Foods was fun. Lots of fresh fruits, veggies and baked goods. The studio is also located very near Ho'okipa Beach which is full of surfers and wind surfing! Plenty of beautiful beaches and great small town shopping. So happy we stayed at Sylvies studio!
Sylvie made sure we had a smooth arrival and she and her husband were very kind and welcoming. The studio itself is perfect for two people. Comfortable bed, full kitchen, big shower, and our favorite part, the amazing view over the gulch!
Really a superb place and my girlfriend and I had a great time.
Our stay at Sylvies studio was our second trip with Airbnb. After our first stay in a comparable studio we thought that a studio couldn't be better, but Sylvies studio was even better.
From a place to park the car on the quite street in front of the house, we had an private entrance to the studio, which leads over a nice terrace were you can enjoy the sun. The studio itself is huge, it is lovely decorated and has a great view directly into the jungle. The view from the studio or the terrace was indeed unbelievable. The studio is equipped with everything you need for staying on Maui, both for staying the whole day there (kitchen stuff, sunbeds, ...) or for travelling over the island (cool box, boogie boards, sun chairs, ...). We could even have used a washing machine.
We stayed at Sylvies studio for 7 nights, but even for 2 weeks there would have been nothing what we were missing... It was fantastic from all points of view, and we can recommend it to everyone without limitations. Thanks Sylvie!
