  • My boyfriend and I had a great stay in San Luis Obispo. Leo was a kind and hospitable host. The room was spotless and comfortable. We were only able to stay one night, but are eager to return.

  • Leo's house is lovely. Very clean and fresh all around. The house is super close to the university, but is also quiet and private. Half of the house is dedicated to AirBnB guests. There are two rooms that share a bathroom. I thought that this might have been awkward, but the rooms are across a long hallway from each other so it felt really private. I was really impressed with the room and would happily stay again.

  • Leo was a superb host and his house is beautiful & conveniently located close to downtown SLO. The room and bathroom are spotless. I would stay here again in a second!

  • Leo is a charming , kind, bright man , who was warm, met all our needs as guests and we would stay with gladly again.

  • My girlfriend and I stayed at Leo's place for 1 night over Thanksgiving and really enjoyed it. Leo was very responsive, respectful and welcoming. He knows the area and gave us a good tip on where to eat.

The house is located by the highway and it is really easy to get to from downtown. The room and private bathroom were both very clean and comfortable.

We would love to stay here again next time we are back in SLO.

  • Leo's lovely home is perfectly situated for visiting the Cal Poly campus and enjoying downtown SLO. We stayed in an upstairs bedroom -- both the bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable and very clean. We didn't meet Leo until the next morning, but he was really great to talk to and he knows the area well. His beautifully planted courtyard has plenty of cozy seating arrangements and I would come back just to spend more time relaxing there!

  • Leo's home was lovely. Very bright, cheery, and clean. As a host, Leo was quite informative about SLO and restaurant recommendations. Will recommend this place!

  • As others have said, Leo is a wonderful host. My daughter and I stayed one Saturday night and Leo was very warm and inviting instantly. He is well-versed in many subjects and is engaging in conversation. He has a dog and cat that are precious. His home is very nice and beautifully decorated. I have my interior design degree, so I am picky about that kind of stuff! :o)

The bedroom was very clean, the bed and pillows comfortable and the bathroom large and very clean as well. He welcomes you to use most of the house at will. There is also ample parking.

His exterior patio is awesome and a great place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Leo shared a bottle of wine with us and a couple (from Sweden) who were also staying there.

Overall, I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

  • Nicely landscaped house, large bedroom and nice bathroom spotlessly clean in a lovely neighborhood just a short walk from downtown SLO. Leo is a great host!

    September 2013
  • Had an awesome last minute Labor Day weekend in the Central CA coast! Went up for concerts at the very lovely and cozy Vina Robles Amphitheater to see Ziggy Marley and Steel Pulse first night and then Peter Frampton's Guitar Circus the second night. Leo has the perfect accommodations! We booked both rooms so we had the upstairs to ourselves. Leo is the perfect host and makes the BEST coffee ever! He made us feel special and very welcome. Close to downtown SLO and not too far from Paso Robles, Cambria and fabulous wineries!! Thanks Leo!!

Have lived in San Luis Obispo for 30 years, where I enjoy going to eateries and artistic events that include music, plays and readings. The Downtown and Cal Poly State University are less that a half-mile from my house. Also enjoy biking to the beach at Avila, Montana de Oro, etc. Traveled to parts of the US and Europe, and am looking forward to venturing to the Asian areas. I own Cuesta Geotechnical, a company that specializes in cleaning toxic waste in the air, soil and groundwater. This fits well with my desire to protect our amazing Central Coast region. I am excited to share my home, my dog, and my cat, and this special place with visitors.
