Staying at Leo's place was a great experience. We were on our way to San Fran from San Diego and decided around 1030pm that we didn't want to drive any longer so we tried Airbnb for the first time. Leo was very accommodating even letting us in his house around 1130 at night. The next morning we had coffee and a nice visit with Leo and went on our way. A+++ We will definitely be back on our next adventure.
Really great experience.
Leo was very welcoming and the place was really cozy. We felt at home!!
Safe neighborhood. Really close to downtown area. Cozy and comfortable home.
My dad and I had a great time at Leo's, we felt right at home. Note - I have 2 reviews because we stayed for a night on the way north and another night on the way south.
My dad and I loved staying with Leo; we had great conversations and felt right at home. It's a pity we had to hit the road and couldn't spend more time in SLO - all the more reason for a return trip, though! The house was supremely comfortable and centrally located.
Leo was a great host and his house is a wonderful place to stay. Just a few minutes walk to downtown and even though is next to the highway it's super quiet. The room is spacious and the bathroom was super clean. We even got breakfast and coffee and had a nice chat with Leo - it was a great time!

About the Host, Leo
Have lived in San Luis Obispo for 30 years, where I enjoy going to eateries and artistic events that include music, plays and readings. The Downtown and Cal Poly State University are less that a half-mile from my house. Also enjoy biking to the beach at Avila, Montana de Oro, etc. Traveled to parts of the US and Europe, and am looking forward to venturing to the Asian areas. I own Cuesta Geotechnical, a company that specializes in cleaning toxic waste in the air, soil and groundwater. This fits well with my desire to protect our amazing Central Coast region. I am excited to share my home, my cat, and this special place with visitors.
