My dad and I had a great time at Leo's, we felt right at home. Note - I have 2 reviews because we stayed for a night on the way north and another night on the way south.
My dad and I loved staying with Leo; we had great conversations and felt right at home. It's a pity we had to hit the road and couldn't spend more time in SLO - all the more reason for a return trip, though! The house was supremely comfortable and centrally located.
An all around amazing experience. Leo's place was warm and inviting. I slept wonderfully, and enjoyed the entire upstairs to myself. Had a great chat with Leo the next morning. Really genuine guy. Highly recommend this place!
We enjoyed our stay at Leo's spotless home a lot - the extremely comfortable bed had us sleep in almost too long! The house is walking distance from San Luis Obispo downtown but in a very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay there again.
Leo was a great host and his house is a wonderful place to stay. Just a few minutes walk to downtown and even though is next to the highway it's super quiet. The room is spacious and the bathroom was super clean. We even got breakfast and coffee and had a nice chat with Leo - it was a great time!
Leo is so nice to rearrange our time because we are delayed to start our trip one day. The bedroom in the house is big, clean, and warm. We have a good time talking about the travel around CA next morning. Good place to stay while exploring highway 1.
What a lovely stay in San Luis Obispo. Leo was a wonderful host and even recommended a restaurant for us (Luna Red) that easily made it to the top of our list for eats on our trip. The accommodations were perfect and exceeded expectations. We would definitely seek out this location again if we are ever back in the neighborhood.

Have lived in San Luis Obispo for 30 years, where I enjoy going to eateries and artistic events that include music, plays and readings. The Downtown and Cal Poly State University are less that a half-mile from my house. Also enjoy biking to the beach at Avila, Montana de Oro, etc. Traveled to parts of the US and Europe, and am looking forward to venturing to the Asian areas. I own Cuesta Geotechnical, a company that specializes in cleaning toxic waste in the air, soil and groundwater. This fits well with my desire to protect our amazing Central Coast region. I am excited to share my home, my cat, and this special place with visitors.
