Convenient, Modern and chill place in the Glen Park - Bernal Heights are - a little village within the city. Super close to all major forms of SF Transportation!

The Space

We have one room available for rent in a 3 bedroom - 2 bath bright, furnished house located in the Glen Park - Mission area. The house was re-constructed a few months ago and has been tastefully furnished by an interior designer. This place is in sharp contrast to the old cramped places common in the city.

The room is huge and comes with beds, pillows, blankets, two closets and even random wall art. The house itself is fully furnished with a huge kitchen, backyard, living room which are all available for you to use. Did I mention bathroom (shared with 2 other people), towels and internet too?

Your hosts would be two guys and a girl, a local editor and two international folks - an independent filmmaker and a student from Europe. We'll be happy to help you around the city, give recommendations or even show you around.

And finally, if our rates are more than you had planned on spending on your travels, let us know an amount that works for you. We are happy to consider any reasonable offer and make your travels stress-free.

Guest Access

Apart from their room and the shared bathroom, the guests will have full access to the all the common areas. Common areas include the living room, dining table, kitchen and the backyard (with the fountain).

Interaction with Guests

As much as needed. We are a friendly bunch so you will see us around often, incase you need any help or have any questions!

The Neighborhood

A quieter neighborhood with families living around but super near to public transportation, freeways, coffee shops, local restaurants, library and a grocery store.

Local Glen Park Farmers Market is 5 mins walk, and happens every Saturday.

Getting around

The house is very conveniently located close to public transit as well as the freeways. It is an 8-minute walk from the Glen Park BART station, 10-minute bus-ride to the 24th and Mission area and less than a mile from I-280. There is ample parking and no permit is required.

  • Unfornately we can not recommend this apartment. Our stay did not live up to our expectations and communications with the host were not good. Upon arrival Anuj told us we not only had to live with him and his two room mates, but also his two parents. It was crowded and Anuj was using the livingroom as his sleepingroom, making it akward to use the common areas. The worst thing was that Anuj didn´t feel any need to communicate this to us before arrival. The apartment was a newly furbished ikea-apartment, and the room was ok. But the kitchen was a little bit dirty. Also the backyard was not very clean, with the furniture often used as drying racks. The area was close to public transport and the Mission street, which is quite trafficked both day and night. With an ok area, mid-range apartment and not so professional host we do not feel that this place is worth the price.

  • Anuj and his housemates were all very kind and welcoming. Upon arriving I also was offered tea, promptly given the keys and WiFi password. The room was nice and spacious, clean, and with fresh bedding. The house was also very convenient public-transit-wise, with bus stops a minute or two walk away, and the Glen Park BART station ~8min away. Additionally, for those new to the city, Anuj and his housemates were all very knowledgeable of the area and were happy to help offer recommendations and directions for restaurants, local attractions, etc.

  • I stayed at Anuj's place for a week. It is a great place with large kitchen - living room area.
All - Anuj, his roommate and the fiends where super friendly and very helpful. They even lend me a mattress for the time after I stayed with them. Thanks again!
    I definitely recommend this place.

  • The room really is like in the photos, very roomy and clean. The rest of the house is also very nice, and the people living there are great. Really chill place, with great transport connections right down the street (MUNI buses/BART Glen Park), as well as good markets (Canyon).
Conclusion: great, uncomplicated place, can only recommend it!

  • Excellent house - the guest room is on a floor of its own, huge kitchen, the hosts are exceptional, transport options are perfect.
Especially suited for longer stays given how its location requires some traveling to and fro. Anuj and Betti are friendly, discrete and incredibly accommodating and laid back. Highly recommended.

  • My parents (mid 50's) stayed at Anuj's apartment in San Francisco for 4 nights in September 2013. They had a really great time. They were able to go cycling all day to all the neighbourhoods in San Fran, the apartment was conveniently located close to the BART for public transportation, in a quiet part of the city, and there was lots of parking for their vehicle. On top of that, they said that the apartment was very clean and modern, Anuj was an absolute pleasure to stay with, and even went out of his way to mail home my fathers passport which he accidentally left there. Thank you so much Anuj!

  • This was a great place to stay if you have car since it’s near the highway with street parking in the area and at the same time easy access to the Bart. Anuj and his roommate were very friendly and always available for advice, the house and room are spacious, clean and well-decorated. Also near the Bart station you have local coffee shop, restaurants and an organic grocery (Canyon Market) pretty to walk around during the day with an impression of a little village in the city. Great stay!
