As a veteran host, I've welcomed 500+ guests, & you can read their reviews. You'll see Airbnb took my house photos, so you can trust they aren't cut & pasted from the internet. If your calendar search found me, the room is vacant & available to you!
This listing is for the Master bedroom in my 3 bedroom Cottage. It has a new Cal-King mattress (that's the biggest size bed made), a walk-in closet, a desk, 2 chairs, lots of natural light, a fan and a TV with a DVR. You will get a key for the lock on your door. A large bathroom is next door. A 2nd bathroom is in the front part of the house. This is a 3-bedroom house, with 2 bathrooms that are shared just like at a regular home.
*I have several different rooms to choose from at my Bed and Breakfast. If you have a large group, you can rent out the other rooms too. You can see the other rooms at my home if you click on my photo and scroll down to my other listings.
You will need a car – you CAN NOT walk to public transportation here in the hills. More information on Car Services are listed Below.
Your pets are welcome here. I charge a flat fee of $5 a day, per dog. I have Faith, a female German Shepherd who likes to lay around and sleep mostly. She doesn't bark and will probably just look up and wag her tail when she sees you, but won't want to take the trouble to stand up to welcome you. :) She's fits our home, very mellow and peaceful. We also have a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix named Chiquita, who brings a lot of joy to our cottage.
Guests have access to the Living room, Kitchen and the spacious backyard. The kitchen was custom designed by a Beverly Hills Chef; it is new and large, with every modern convenience.
You are welcome to use the whole kitchen, to prepare some or all of your meals. Feel free to buy your own groceries and store them in the refrigerator. The ingredients for a fresh breakfast are INCLUDED in the price of your stay.
The new Laundry and Dryer machines are available for guest use, and washing soap and extras are all provided. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the back yard view for meals or tanning or relaxing in the evening.
Interaction with Guests
I work from my home office located in the back of the property, but I'm always available for any questions you may have. I like to give my guests as much privacy and quiet as I can during their visit, unless they want to chat. I love hearing about different places and my guests adventures too!

I'm so grateful that I got a chance to stay at Helen's beautiful house before leaving back home to Russia. Nothing compares to staying in the Hills. Very quiet nice neighborhood, lots of flowers and close to everything you might want to see in LA. Lots of parking outside. The house is clean and beautiful, decorated with a great taste. A lot of cute little details. Terrace with a view of The Hills. Breakfast is included. Very wide choice of tea and coffee. Great fast WiFi. Helen is a wonderful and kind person. Always ready to help and trying to make sure you feel like home. But at the same time she knows how to keep the distance to make you feel free and private enough. And her dogs are the cutest ever. I'm going to miss this place. And really hope to stay here once again.
Helen is amazing. I had a last minute cancelation on my original booking; she checked me in about 10 pm the same day. Her home is very comfortable. Having breakfast provided was a real plus. She or her friends took my dog for a walk the days I had to be gone all day. Words cannot describe how committed Helen is to her guests and their needs. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
Soo Helen, George, and Gloria were the absolute best hosts. From the moment I arrived, they welcomed me into their beautiful home as if I was apart of the their family. I had such a great time getting to know them, and they gave me great advice on life. Their home was in a great location conveniently located around great places to dine and hike. I am sad that my time here is up because I had such a great time with wonderful. If you want to be surrounded by great people, quiet neighborhoods, and an absolutely comfortable bed, then this is your place! I would highly recommend staying here because you will not regret it!
What a wonderful host Helen and George was!!! Coming from one host to another, there isn't a piece that Helen left out to make us feel welcome and at home... First day arrived and she welcomed us and even prepared a snack for us. We were greeted by her dogs, who were very friendly. That part made us feel even more welcome. The house was as described, the room was wonderful!!! With a walk in closet (that spoiled me). Plenty of options for breakfast and the view is break taking. A hidden treasure, located near everything. It was a secluded neighborhood and we never had trouble with parking. We loved our stay and if we are ever in The area, we will definitely stay there again.
Very welcoming and no pressure home. The bed was comfy, the room was clean and there was a lot of food provided. Nice backyard with a nice view of the hills. You definitely need a car but the location is close enough to everything. Would go again. Thanks Helen!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying with Helen. AirBnB is about feeling you belong to the place you're staying and Helen exemplified that spirit. She is an attentive host and made us welcome throughout our 2 day stay, even offering to cook a meal for us (which smelt delicious but we were headed out to a comedy club). The bed was the most comfortable we've slept on and the pillows were super soft. Great location and easy to park. Advise driving to the Griffith observatory to watch the sunset; it's free entry and parking. Would stay here again.

I have enjoyed becoming a veteran host on Airbnb, having hosted over 500 guests at my home since 2013; many of them returning again and again. I have learned so many new things from my guests that has made my life richer-things about their home town, recipes, new websites-Things I would never have learned otherwise. I feel really blessed that some of the most terrific people in the world have chosen my home to stay in, and to share their wisdom with me.
I am of Indian descent; my parents immigrated to the US from Mumbai, and I have lived in Los Angeles my entire life. I My hobby is collecting "old" technology. It is amazing to me the jump we've made in the last 100 years. I have in my collection a 1950 television, an antique record player, a camera, telegraph machine and telephone. My favorite food is dark chocolate-- I have to have a bite a day! I love being a tourist in my own city; exploring all the special spots that most residents take for granted and never visit. I like learning the history behind a location, finding the best restaurants, and good movies and television! When I visit a new city, it is important to me to stay in a very clean, ultra-comfortable place. I love little luxuries, the best pancakes, the nicest sheets, the most comfortable pillow, the perfect cup of tea. Things that irritate me when I travel are: getting lost, and people that ruin my day with their not friendly attitudes. Little details do matter, and I love making that difference for my guests. I have worked as a tour guide, so I can give you those helpful hints that can make a huge difference when you are traveling.
