I like how well my apartment is situtated. In the neigborhood you can find all kind of services, f.ex. groceries stores, bakery, pharmacy and a gas station. On of the two biggest shopping mall, Kringlan, is in 5 min walking distance and one of the biggest outdoor swimming pool and spa, the Botanical Garden, a family park and zoo with most Icelandic animals, is situated in 10-15 min. walking distance. It's takes around 20-25 min to walk to downtown Reykjavik, but only 5-10 min. by bus.
You can take bus from my home, takes around 3-6min to go to the bus station, depending on where you are going.

We had amazing stay in Johanna's house. She was a kind and welcoming host, her house was very lovely and had unique interior.
Johanna helped us a lot with our first visit to Iceland. She told us about the culture and customs of the Icelandic people, best places to visit.
I would certainly recommend Johanna as a host.

Johanna and her two young sons have a pleasant house and were willing to share it with three of us for three nights on our visit to Iceland in May 2013. Our host was relaxed and pleasant and left a good breakfast for us when she went off to work in the morning. The number 11 bus goes close to the property so it is easy to get to the city by bus.
We had a great time staying with Johanna - she is friendly and hospitable and made us feel very welcome in her warm and comfortable home. We are in accord agree with other reviews - she provides a decidedly 5 star breakfast!
I would not hesitate to recommend her as a host.

We stayed in Johanna's apartment for one night following a 6 day hiking trip. We were in need of a place to relax, clean up, and do laundry. Johanna and her sons were very friendly and hospitable. They were very quiet on Saturday morning allowing us to sleep in a bit and she also provided a very good breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Johanna opened her lovely home to us at the tail end of our Iceland stay. We awoke to a delicious breakfast every morning. Overall a solid value.
