About This Listing
Beautiful cosy apartment in the city centre between the Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht. It is a historic building from XVIIIc with the private apartment on the top 2 floors. The apartment is located on the Reestraat, the first of the 9 streets.
The apartment has a lovely juxtaposition between the new and old. Clean lines, walls, hardwood floors in combination with 18th century wooden beams.
Entrance on the ground floor at the Reestraat. One straight flight of stairs to the entrance of the apartment on the second floor.
Interaction with Guests
I personally welcome you to my apartment. Followed by a 5 min. tour, share some neighborhood tips and answer any questions if needed.
Amsterdam is a great city, the location is perfect for short or long stay. Very central with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in and around the streets. Behind the apartment is a supermarket and trams to and from Amsterdam Central station.
It's a short walk to the Dam Square, Anna Franks house or even Leidseplein. In the weekend walk to the Noordermarkt via the Jordaan. Or simply follow the grachten and enjoy the Dutch Architecture.
Trains run directly from Schiphol to Amsterdam central station (15 minutes). Take trams 13, 17 or buses 170, 174 to the 'westermarkt'. The 'westermarkt' stop is parallel behind the Reestraat, a 3 to 4 minute walk.
Alternatively I would suggest to us Uber, a personal taxi (website hidden)
If you need a place to leave your luggage, there are lockers at Amsterdam Central Station.
Other Things to Note
The apartment comes with all the luxury facilities, free wifi, kitchen, microwave-oven, coffee machine, hot water boiler, fridge, LED TV with DVD player (inside tv), washing machine, dishwasher, hairdryer, towels, linen, couch, table and a bathroom with a view of the westertoren.
Respect the apartment like you would your own.

Merci à Thomas pour son accueil et pour ses conseils de restaurant, le RED est un régal !
Thomas was a great host and the flat was super nice in a perfect location. We could not have had a better accommodation.
Thomas met us at the flat as arranged and made us very welcome. He showed us the flat and explained how everything worked.
The flat was clean and well equipped, and looked just as expected from the photos. It is very well located for the attractions of Amsterdam.
Thanks to Thomas for his welcoming.
We appriciated a lot his lovely flat including the situation deep in the inner city: that was perfect for us to walk around and ride with bicycle to discoverd the city of Amsterdam.
To speak frankly, don't hesitate to go further with Thomas excepted if you have some problems to climb steep stairs.
Thomas gave us a nice welcome. The apartment is very nice and well placed. Defiantly recommendable
