Beautiful cosy apartment in the city centre between the Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht. It is a historic building from XVIIIc with the apartment on the top 2 floors. The apartment is located on the Reestraat, the first of the 9 streets.
The apartment has a lovely juxtaposition between the new and old. Clean lines, walls, hardwood floors in combination with 18th century wooden beams.
Entrance on the ground floor at the Reestraat. One straight flight of stairs to the entrance of the apartment on the second floor.
I personally welcome you to my apartment. Followed by a 5 min. tour, share some neighborhood tips and answer any questions if needed.
Amsterdam is a great city, the location is perfect for short or long stay. Very central with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in and around the streets. Behind the apartment is a supermarket and trams to and from Amsterdam Central station.
It's a short walk to the Dam Square, Anna Franks house or even Leidseplein. In the weekend walk to the Noordermarkt via the Jordaan. Or simply follow the grachten and enjoy the Dutch Architecture.
From the 'westermarkt' trams 13, 17 and buses 170, 174 go directly to and from Amsterdam Central Station. The 'westermarkt' stop is parallel behind the Reestraat, a 3 to 4 minute walk.
The apartment comes with all the luxury facilities, free wifi, kitchen, microwave-oven, coffee machine, hot water boiler, fridge, LED TV with DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, towels, linen, couch, table and a bathroom with a view of the westertoren.

Lovely apartment, great area, helpful and friendly host.
Couldn't fault it and we had a fantastic few days in Amsterdam.
My wife and I had a lovely weekend at Thomas' apartment. We were greeted by Thomas when we arrived at the apartment where he gave us a short tour and informed us of a few local attractions and places to grab some food. His apartment is perfect for a romantic getaway and is situated in a lovely district of Amsterdam easily accessible by public transport, we would highly recommend staying here.
Excellent situation, and well equiped appt everything you need for a few days in Amsterdam. Thomas was very quick to answer any e-mails and was at the appt to meet us as arranged. As someone else mentioned its worth bringing your ear plugs as the street can be noisy early morning with rubbish collections and the Kirk clock. Would certainly recommend it
Thomas is a great host, and met us at the front door at the scheduled check-in time. He graciously offered to carry my friend's luggage up the stairs (Amsterdam is known for steep staircases!), and gave us a thorough orientation to the apartment set up. The place is situated in the beautiful De 9 Straatjes neighborhood, which is full of boutique/vintage shops and eateries, and makes for easy access to all the city's main attractions. Inside it is completely immaculate and nicely decorated with simple yet comfortable furnishings. The outside views of Reestraat and Westerkerk are beautiful. This is an awesome place to stay at for any visit to Amsterdam!
Beautiful apartment...right in the middle of the action. Thomas did a great job designing it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The staircase is a bit too steep...manage your luggage accordingly :-)
Great host and lovely apartment.
The apartment is exactly as described and pictured : very bright, well designed and equipped. It's located in an amazing neighborhood, away from the less appealing tourist areas. We had a great time time there and we're looking forward to coming back soon.
Thomas ´ s place is really great to stay in the very center of A ´ dam, for short or long stay, close to everything, and just far enough for gloomy groups not to roam around... Just gotta think of earplugs if your sleep is not heavy, due to the Westerkerk´s 15 min sweet sound. Would come back right now.
The apartment was absolutely fantastic, both in terms of layout/facilities and geographically. In amongst some really cool independent shops, bars and restaurants and far enough away from the lively city centre so you were fully refreshed for the next day.
Thomas was also super helpful and I would recommend this apartment to anyone.
Thomas is a great host with a cozy and quiet apartment. He responded promptly to my messages and help me find great places in Amsterdam to explore. His listing gives great directions on which trams to take and how to find his apartment.
