Ganga's place has a phenomenal view of Lake Biwa. We watched the sunrise from the living room.
We also enjoyed visiting the nearby shrine and the walk to the nearby historical village with traditional japanese architecture.

This place is spacious and clean. In a quiet and scenic neighborhood right by a beautiful lake. It is literally right next to the train station that get Kyoto in about a half an hour. Ganga was a very nice, informative, and communicative host. We would stay here again.

Ganga´s house is a big japanese-style house in the outskirts of Kyoto. It was a good experience. We would recommend it if you want to be closer to nature and the beautiful lake, probably in the summer time it is more enjoyable, since in the winter it was very cold (also inside). …
