A few cosmetic updates, come check it out!!
Come stay in Saint Paul! This spacious condo offers a country-style respite on the edge of the city! And you'll have the entire space to yourself!! Hear birds chirping in the morning, watch the geese and herrings land on the pond, take a walk around the Lake! And when you're ready for something more, hit one of the hundreds of bars & restaurants or entertainment venues within a few miles!
Bus route runs within a block M-F mornings and afternoons. This neighborhood is safe and quiet and very private. Nearby are several restaurants and lots of shopping, but when you're here, it's no hustle or bustle, just peace and quiet. This is the best spot in the east Metro... close enough to everything you want, but far enough to maintain privacy, peace and quiet.
We welcome you to come stay here as our honored guest. We value the new friends we have made through Air-bnb and hope you will consider us friends as well!
Just a few rules, to make sure we're on the same page :) Don't break, burn, damage or take anything. But if you do, you're welcome to replace it or pay for it at full cost.
This is a very peaceful, family-type neighborhood... have fun but no drugs and please be kind to my neighbors :D ...Other than that, feel free to relax, enjoy your stay and enjoy all the comforts of home - away from home!
Stayed at the apartment for 3 months. Great location, the place itself is lovely. Eva is very welcoming, we felt at home the entire time. Very good place for this price range.
I do not recommend this unless you don't care about the condition of the accommodations. Bedding was unclean. Picture of the apartment is very misleading. It is very dark and foreboding and cluttered - almost to the point of hoarding. It is not what I would refer to as a condo. It's a small apartment with too much stuff packed in it. Plus I hope you like stairs - because it is located in the basement of the apartment building and you have to go down a long flight of stairs (carrying luggage, etc.) to get to the apartment. This wasn't mentioned in the ad.
There is much more I could say. But suffice it to say - we felt we paid way too much and next time will spend the money at a decent hotel. I just wish we hadn't prepaid for this very uncomfortable 3 days.
The condo was as advertised and Eva was a gracious host. I would highly recommend her condo. Very quiet as we had hoped. We had everything we needed for our 5 day stay.
The surrounding Carver park area was especially nice with hiking trails, etc. We would definitely stay there again.
Eva and Blake were so generous and kind to our family. They shared their home with us and made us feel very comfortable. We had a great summer at Eva's house and would highly recommend it.
Very gracious hostess. The unit was exactly as described. No surprises. Very cool condo and location.
Eva has a beautiful place right behind Lake Caver, in Woodbury.
Eva was very flexible with us and its definitely a place I would stay again.
Hey! My name is Eva, pronounced Eeeeeva, like on the movie WALL-E! I love my condo in Woodbury, MN! It's like a little piece of a nature preserve on the verge of the Super Fun Twin Cities!! I love hosting guests for a break from the work-week or a weekend stay! We have a spacious Condo with plenty of room to veg out, study, rest or recover. We're within a 1/2 mile from the interstate, but it's soo quiet here you'd never tell!
My favorite thing about hosting is meeting so many wonderful travelers and making new friends! Please message me if you are considering staying in our home and I'd love to answer any questions you might have!
Also, since living in Minnesota for almost 10 years now, and having a big Adventure spirit, we can direct you to many of the Exciting and Fun things to do around here!! Hiking, biking, walking, fishing, swimming and archery are all within a 1/2 mile!! But that's just the begining! St Paul brags a Diverse selection of restaurants, music, bars, shopping, views and romantic evenings! And Minneapolis is just a few more miles down the road! Check the map!
