The space
Vintage library vibe meets cozy mountain cabin in this newly updated cabin, adjoining 1000+ acres of conservation land, 9 miles from downtown Asheville, 1 mile from gorgeous hiking trails. Private hot tub, large deck, stone firepit, cozy furnishings, retro lloyd fireplace that burns gel canisters.
Dogs are allowed :)
Firewood is available on site but you may want to bring a fire starter to help it get going.

Guests have full access to the property, cabin, hot tub and shed area if additional storage is needed.

The cabin is 18 minutes away from the Biltmore Estate (11.5 miles) and 19 minutes from downtown Asheville (9 miles)

4 wheel drive is not needed the vast majority of the year; however, all wheel drive or 4x4 is suggested if snowy/icy weather conditions are in the forecast.

Once on the property, we have pathway lighting from the parking area to the cabin and string lights on the deck and around the firepit area. That being said, if arriving after sundown, the area is very dark.

We can host a maximum of two adult dogs. We love puppies but as their behavior is unpredictable, they are not allowed on the property. Puppies are 18 months and younger. We do not host other pets including cats, reptiles, etc.

Neighborhood highlights

This is a small mountain community adjacent to gorgeous conservation land, 9 miles from downtown Asheville. Our driveway is a little steep but not intimidating. All wheel drive and 4x4 suggested is snow is in the forecast.
The cabin is not remote but rather in a quaint mountain community. There are two vacation homes near by but the cabin and deck are situated in such a way that maximizes privacy. The cabin is in a valley with a farm, so you may hear the distant sounds of chickens, goats, and dogs :)
Given our location next to undeveloped land we have occasional wildlife visits (I've seen Black bears on the property multiple times), so please don't leave pets unattended outside. We are 1 mile from Warren Wilson hiking trails. Enjoy!
