I have lived in Cairo for 5 years and recently moved into my own two bedroom apartment in Zamalek which I am now offering a part of to host people after experiencing airbnb as a guest and loving the experience!
My apartment has recently been completely decorated by me and has a very spacious large air conditioned living room. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms
Includes: Cleaner twice a week, High speed DSL, OSN HD satellite TV, and ALL bills.
* Two minutes walk away from Seqouia and Left Bank.
* Easy access to Taxis and Nile taxi.
* Plenty of options for great restaurants and bars within walking distance.
I know the area very well and would be happy to recommend places to go to if you are visiting.
On offer is a large room with one bed and is completely isolated from the apartment save the entrance from the terrace.
This leaves you your own private apartment within an apartment, with access to the kitchen and bathrooms, and of course the terrace/balcony.
Get in touch if you're interested and want to find out more!

Karim is the best. It's pretty simple. I could not wish for a host more welcoming, nice and friendly. This was my second stay with him and I am glad to say that we have become friends by now. Needless to say that I warmly recommend staying with him.
To give some more details about the room: It's quite secluded from the rest of the flat if one wants some personal space. The whole flat is gigantic and very stylish. Internet is fast, shower water warm, internet is fast (for Cairo standards) and the kitchen big and well-equipped.
Even though I loved it, there might be two reasons for you not to choose the flat:
- You hate animals. Karim has two cats and one dog all if which are very friendly flatmates. But there are people who don't like to have pets around. If you're one, don't come.
- You hate noise. While the flat itself is quite calm, the room is facing the street. And Cairo streets are loud. It was fine with me but if you are very sensitive, think twice.
Karim: Thanks for everything! I'm looking forward to seeing you next time I'm in Cairo.
Wow! Karim's flat is absolutely amazing. It is large, clean, he has good taste and most importantly: He is great company. As are his pets. I felt extremely welcome at Karim and I will definitely stay with him again when I come back in April.
