very near station clean and convenient !
Nice hostel, close to the train station, perfect if you arrive late. The staff is very very nice and the place is clean. I could say that this is one of the best hostels I saw.
Un buen hospedaje, se encuentran personas amables y es un ambiente de respeto. Salvatore y franceso son muy buenas personas y hasta la cena prepararon. Lo recomiendo
Ottima accoglienza senza dubbio!
It is very awesome hostel. The owner is very helpful and have a motherly vibe beaming from her. We were delighted and were completely satisfied.
I arrived at 1130pm on Christmas Eve and one of Romangelo's colleagues had intentionally stayed to welcome me. :) they were very friendly and helpful.
The rooms were cosy and simple. Not too spacious, but enough for a comfortable nights sleep.
The neighbourhood is actually quite safe, just beside the train station. There are some small shops are open till late at night around so there will be no problems getting a bite or two no matter how late you arrive.
On Christmas day, contrary to what people expect, many restaurants are still open. There is no need to have a picnic in the room.
It was a short but enjoyable 2 nights' stay for me and I would definitely recommend this safe, value-for-money and comfortable dormitory.
Ciao, I felt maybe slightly a little feeling of being welcome...? Listing was accurate but the whole "system" he/she/they had was confusing because he/she/they had a network of several places so that you will be put to one of those when you arrive. After a long flight and train ride, I found the address on the listing, yes - that's accurate. (A huge) BUT there was no one to answer the bloody door. Standing outside the huge door like a bloody fool, I was anxious and pressing on the door bell for a good 15 minutes until my friend (an Italian) called the phone number on the listing. Only through my friend, they arranged a place for me in another address 3 blocks down the road. Not a nice thing after dragging your 23kg luggage down the uneven roads of Rome. Also, they couldn't find my reservation... Bravo. But I got a place to stay and rest the night eventually at FRIEND HOUSE.
I found myself in the middle of the neighbourhood near the central terminal (Roma Termini) where you can get to anywhere within 20 minutes. Great for budget backpackers who doesn't mind a little inconvenience and trouble. Situated just on the main street, traffic at night could be a noise pollution for your sleep.
Sidenote: A 3GB Internet-only SIM card can be purchased to help yourself navigate around. Costs 20euro. It is awesome and highly recommended.
