  • Ginny was a very friendly and welcoming host with a lovely place situated a short walk from the farmers' market and shops/pubs/restaurants.

  • Lovely accommodation, right in the heart of Stroud - close to shops and the Saturday morning market, as well as the countryside, for some lovely walks. Ginny was a great host, very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! The room is lovely, with a very comfortable bed. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful weekend away.

  • We stayed with Ginny for a couple of nights while going racing at nearby Cheltenham. Everything about the experience was excellent from the email telling us how to find the apartment to the comfortable beds to the great cooked breakfast the next morning. Ginny is charming, interesting and entertaining and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is stylishly furnished and decorated. The only downside was Ginny's inability to provide us with a couple of winners at the races, but that was a small price to pay for sharing her house for a couple of days.

  • Ginny was very friendly and welcoming. The flat was lovely and the room comfy although a little small for two. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

  • The stay at Ginny's house was on very short notice and for just one day. Still it was really nice and I felt welcome! The place is in the center of Stroud and has a nice living room. Ginny is very hospitable and I recommend it to anybody.

  • I had a lovely stay at Ginny's Penthouse, it is beautiful, lots of light, spacious, a wonderful cosy loft room, great bathroom, with a very, very comfortable bed. I slept so deeply. From the beginning Ginny was so helpful, even meeting me at the train since I had heavy luggage. Her place is located right in the center of Stroud, near dwalking streets and restaurants. She had beautiful attention to detail, fresh flowers everywhere, lovely breakfast of eggs, roasted tomatoes and mushrooms. She is such a lovely person, warm and gracious, I would recommend this place to anyone interested in staying in a home rather than a hotel.

  • Great place to stay, great location, basically in town!
Very friendly host who cooks a great breakfast too!

  • Ginny's place is amazing! It was very clean, light and airy even though we were in the small room (don't worry Ginny, it's still very functional). This place is very well located to explore Stroud and the Cotswolds. Ginny was a very good hostess, always warm and personable. Communications were great from start to end. I would book with Ginny again.

    Thanks Andrew,

Hope to see you again one day..Ginny

  • Ginny was the consummate host: generous, gracious, and kind. Our little family (my husband, my ten-month-old, and I) spent a wonderful week in her huge, clean penthouse room adjoining the roof deck, where we could watch our laundry dry in the sun -- or, more often, dash out to rescue it from the rain. Her house is comfortable & lovely, and it was a perfect base from which to explore the Cotswolds. We really couldn't be more pleased with our stay.

I live with my 18 year old son in this lovely apartment in town. I have lived in the middle of the countryside for ages so by moving here you could say that I have gone from the sublime to the ridiculous. But it is great to be in the hub of Stroud. I love sailing, cooking and spending time with my friends, reading, making music and walking. I go away quite a lot. France, Cornwall and London are my most recent forays. Just got back from visiting and working in India and then sailing from Portugal to Mallorca. I like to think I am a relaxed host. Not formal. I would like you to feel that this is home for the time you are here. I couldn't do without my children, Jessica, Morwenna and Brooke, my books, friends, my guitar and my surf board.
