Interaction with Guests
The cabin is ready to go and easily accessible without needing to meet with us. However, we do live next door if needing further information or any issues arise.
We try not to intrude on guests privacy to allow them to enjoy their time away from home.
We love the area, because it is so close to the beach, an easy stroll. But we are also surrounded by luscious native Australian gum trees which encourage beautiful king parrots and rosellas and occasionally the odd koala.
It is a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood.
A car is really ideal if wanting to sight see. Apollo Bay is only 5 km away, but there is no public transport.
Other Things to Note
We are pet friendly and wheelchair friendly.
We want guests to relax and enjoy themselves, but request that the cabin us left in the same state as when guests arrive.
It is helpful for us to know if light globes have blown or if there are any other unexpected problems with electrical goods so that we can remedy it immediately.
A good little holiday unit, just off the the Great Ocean Road, with views through the bush and to the beach. Easy walking access to the beach, and a quick drive to Apollo Bay. Well maintained with basic facilities, and a big TV and a great gas heater for all the seasons that can be experienced in one day!
We had a lovely stay at fisheye9. It had everything we needed, stunning views and the perfect stop midway down the great ocean road.
Tanja was very helpful, booking was simple and hassle free. Would recommend to others.
We enjoyed our stay at Fisheye 9 very much. The small home was very functional, comfortable and clean. There wonderful views and the sound of the waves a short distance away. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of hot water. Tanja and David left a welcome letter which explained everything and gave us their contact details if needed.
We also enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate from the kiosk at the caravan park close by and drank it watching the surfers at the beach.
Would highly recommend the property to others.
A gorgeous getaway house! My friends and I had a great time and felt relaxed and comfortable in this clean and well put together home. We hope to come back one day soon!
Tanja's cottage is comfortable and spacious. The location is great -- just a few minutes from Apollo Bay and about ninety minutes from the Twelve Apostles. The cottage is well appointed and would easily sleep four. Finally, Tanja's replies were always prompt and friendly. I would certainly stay here again.
