Our getaway is steps away from Tahoe Nation Forest, and is architected to remind you of the natural grandeur of the region. At the same time, we have gone to great lengths to insure it is both relaxing and well equipped to handle large gatherings.
This beautiful condo in North Lake Tahoe has been newly remodeled and awaits you. We're located minutes from the characteristic downtown and popular beach community of Kings Beach and less than 10 minutes drive to Northstar resorts. The condo has 2 large bedrooms with comfortable new queen size beds, a small "box room" with a bunk bed suitable for small kids or short stays, and an open loft area with a full-over-twin bunk bed, TV and Playstation 3 (kids love this room). The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need to enjoy a wonderful meal at the large banquet table. Afterwards, cozy up to the fire and enjoy the wonderful ambiance of Lake Tahoe.
Summer time provides hiking, biking, private tennis courts, community pool, sauna and work out room all just a few steps from the front door.
Kings Beach has plenty of restaurants and unique little shops. The TART Bus stops nearby the complex on Hwy-267. You can find a bus schedule posted outside the HOA office directly across the street.
Note: There is a two day minimum stay for most weeks, which is programmed into the calendar. For holiday weekends (esp. Christmas/New Year and Ski Week (the week inclusive of Presidents Day) we give preference to longer stays and can't confirm a shorter booking more than 30 days in advance of those special weekends).
You've got the run of the house. Pool and sauna (across the street) are accessible in summer.

Kings Beach has lots of enjoyable little shops and restaurants. If you're renting ski's, Dave's Ski and Snowboard (no relation) is the bomb!
There is a bus stop outside the complex (TART), and Northstar runs shuttles past the complex.
Treat it with love. Please no pets and no smoking.
Everything went great. House was as expected. Hosts were helpful and generous in our communication before our stay. The lockbox made for a convenient arrival.
We had a great time at Dave and Emma's place. The house is spacious and well appointed. It's in a great location for skiing at North Star and visiting the lake. The house was very clean and tidy. The hosts gave us clear instructions and were available to answer questions and offer assistance. Recommended!
Dave made the whole process extremely smooth and wonderful. He documented all the important info about the house (keys, heating, wifi speakers) in his emails. The house itself is well decorated, clean, and had wonderful kitchen equipment. We had a great time.
Dave and Emma's condo in Kings Beach was wonderful. It was extremely well equipped, warm and cozy and very comfortable. It was exactly how it appeared in the pictures. The neighborhood was really nice, the condo area made a good, safe space for walking around and having a snow ball fight (it snowed when we were there) and you don't have to worry about traffic or anything else, which is very nice if you have small children. My son loved "his room" (the loft). It has two bean bag chairs which he thought were awesome and a PS3, which he also thought was awesome. It was cool seeing him be so excited about his own vacation space. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others, especially families.
We had an excellent three night stay in this condo. This place was very spacious and clean. Everything was good as described. It was also very close (less than 10 minute drive) to Northstar resort. There were a few nearby eateries including a Safeway supermarket, which was quite convenient. Would stay here again if I ever come back to North Tahoe!
This place is great! It has all you need to cook, listen to music and have a pleasant evening with your friends by the fireplace. We went northstar and it's only a 15 min drive. Dave is a fantastic host.
We live in Mountain View in the Bay Area with our 4 kids. I work in IT as a business analyst. I've loved traveling since I was young and have lived in 6 countries. I've coached dozens of youth teams as my kids were trying out different sports, but they are all in for soccer now, and I mostly get to cheer from the sidelines.
