My stay at Sorita's place was a nice experience. She does her best to make her guest feel comfortable and she was always happy to help out with directions etc. Thanks!
A perfectly comfortable place in a perfectly safe neighbourhood with a perfectly welcoming host for an unfussy budget traveller. I was extra lucky to try Sorita's cheese scones - delicious!!
I had a very nice time at Sorita's! The room was clean and cosy, the neighborhood very nice and friendly. Sorita was also very helpful recommending me good restaurant places and addresses, and explaining me how to read this crazy subway map!
Sorita is a great Host. I felt very comfortable and had a really fun time with her. She is very helpful and also has great cooking skills :)
I had no problems to go to Manhattan or the airport with the subway. I can really recommend her! Thank you for everything!
Sorita is a great host! I had a wonderful Christmas holiday with her and her tasty cake:) She offered many advice which I found it very useful. She is also a good company if I want to have a talk. The room is very clean and neat. I felt very comfortable staying there. Strongly recommend it to girls who want to visit NYC and make friend with New Yorker!
I felt very comfortable and secured with Sorita.
Sorita is a great host and her velvet cake is delicious!
Thanks to her advices, I didn't have any problem in navigating around NY.
I really enjoyed to stay with Sorita and if I decided to come back to NY, I would like to stay with her again.
Thank you Sorita.

I enjoy traveling, meeting people from diverse cultures, baking, trying different cuisines, socializing, concerts, watching travel shows and dancing. I enjoy walking to nearby Fort Greene Park or all the way to Lower Manhattan via the Brooklyn Bridge, and attending free concerts/festivals in NYC's beautiful parks during the summer.
I have a keen interest in what's going on in the rest of the world. I am involved in cultural exchange meetup groups, which gives me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. One group, a language exchange meetup allows me to practice my Spanish whilst helping non-native English speakers to practice and improve their English.
I love shopping and am a bargain shopper at heart. I always like to make sure that visitors to NYC get the best deals for their money. Moreover, as someone who travels solo often, I know how important it is for women to be in a clean, comfortable, and safe environment.
PLEASE NOTE - VERY IMPORTANT
Kindly send me a message before trying to book. I will respond to you as soon as possible and let you know, if the room is available. You'll get a clean, tidy, safe and comfortable place to stay in, and a kind and helpful host; I'd like a guest who is responsible, respectful, pleasant, drama free and willing to clean up after herself. I do this because I enjoy traveling and like to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. I've met some really wonderful people through this service and hope to meet many more. Thank you. I look forward to hosting you. :-)
