We enjoyed our stay at Tatiana's townhouse very much. The taxi ride from JFK is easy and only takes about 40 minutes. The apartment is conveniently located about 10 minutes away from the next subway which brings you directly to Manhattan. The rooms were very clean and it was good to have a kitchen there since we didn't want to go our for dinner every day. Especially for someone with a light sleep this place is great since the bedrooms are facing backward and it's absolutely quiet. There's a supermarket about 2 blocks away. Altogether we can highly recommend this place for a visit of New York.
Tatiana was a nice host. The apartment was clean and looked just like the photos. The location was very convenient for all types of transportation, we used taxis most of the time, but the subway was I think only one block away, a very short walk. The only thing I would have liked to have had more of is towels, there were four of us staying and we each only had 1 towel for 5 nights stay, but that was the only thing and it would not prevent us from staying here again when we visit Brooklyn .
The apartment is just as nice as it looks in the pictures: spacious, clean and bright; the beds are very comfortable.
Tatiana and Chris were very kind and helpful. She made for us some delicious cookies!
The area is safe and quiet and the apt is very close to subway lines.
Brooklyn was a pleasant discovery, and it's a good compromise for visiting New York City.
Our return visit to Brooklyn, staying at Tatiana's apartment was just as enjoyable as our first visit , one year ago. It was so warm, clean, comfortable and secure, with easy access to subways to Manhattan. We had a fabulous time!
Great townhouse, great location, central to 2 subway lines.
Very neat and clean. Close to a great super market.
The couch and TV could be bigger.
Biggest complaint, the noise from upstairs late at night and early in the morning, the wooden floors upstairs made the movements and noises extremely loud and kept us up
Our weekend in NY was a very pleasant experience. Tatiana welcomed us, explained the apartment layout, gave us information about the neighborhood, subway access.
The unit is a comfortable 2 bedroom/bathroom. The bed was perfect, the bathrooms well equipped, the kitchen supplied with the necessary elements for those on a longer stay. Having a supply of coffee in the cupboard was a good surprise.
The neighborhood is quiet, a lovely street of Brownstones, very safe.
For those that are looking for a Brooklyn experience, the unit is close to several fun neighborhoods and not far from Williamsburg ( by subway) Manhattan is 15 min on the A/C line- convenient
Tatiana was very efficient at replying to our queries. We were a group of 4 people and were happy in the flat.

I've lived in New York for 30 years. I speak French, Spanish, Slovak, and English, and have working knowledge in Italian and Russian. I've worked in communications, language translation, and for the recent 15 years as a real estate agent and developer. I love to cook, and I've been told I'm pretty good at it.
