There are two new, queen-sized beds.
Two, full bathrooms. Master bathroom has a large, relaxing Roman tub. Lots of clean towels, soap, and other essentials upon your arrival. Hair dryer.
High-end with new appliances: stainless steel refrigerator, sub-zero freezer, dishwasher, microwave, large stove, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, blender, toaster, disposal, full cooking supplies and utensils, lots of wine glasses, tea kettle, baking supplies and general use glasses and mugs.

Paul's place is great, a real gem! Two bedrooms with two full baths and a comfortable living/dining room and kitchen. A nice little balcony for fresh air. Garage parking included. And the location is perfect! Just a few minutes' walk from all the happenings downtown, but on a quiet street without much traffic. Thus the Promenade, the Farmer's Market, and the beach are all easily walkable. Venice is a short bus (or cab) ride away, and even downtown LA was pretty easy to get to by bus. We stayed eight days without a car and rarely wanted one. If you are looking for a gym I recommend Iron Fitness up the street, they have daily and weekly plans. And if you're looking for a party I recommend Harvelle's downtown! Only a five minute walk, maybe a ten minute stumble... Paul was very responsive while also totally not intrusive. His assistant Rosa who showed us the place was also very friendly and helpful. I absolutely recommend staying at Paul's, unless you happen to be going to Santa Monica when I am, in which case you'd better let me stay at Paul's!
Fantastic location. This 2 bed 2 bath apartment comes with secure underground parking too! We had a lovely stay and would visit again. Communication with the host was very clear and we received a fast response every time!
Fantastic stay at this apartment in a great location. Everything was as described. Paul is a very conscientious host who responds quickly. I will definitely stay there again on any future trips. The design of the apartment was perfect with two separate bedrooms, each with their en suite bathrooms. Having a parking space was invaluable. This was definitely a five star experience.
Just like in the photos. The unit is clean, bright and comfortable. Very well located, close to shops, restaurants and supermarket.. Very handy having two bathrooms. It's great having a big TV with Chromecast.
The thing we most appreciated about the apartment was its tranquility. We rarely heard a sound from our neighbors, across the walls or from the courtyard.
We couldn’t have asked for a more gracious, responsive, and considerate owner than Paul. He really bent over backwards to address our concerns in a timely way both before and during our stay, and someone was always available should we need assistance.
Common room is a great airy space. Loved the high window for morning sun. Plush carpet and comfy, stylish couches give a luxurious feel. Good-sized dining table and comfortable chairs. Plant is a welcome bit of décor.
Nice bedroom furniture, and a killer flat-screen TV! Great oversized closet. Love the private balcony access.
Bathrooms are very attractive, great lighting & mirror, good counter and drawer space for personal care items. Loved the tub/oversized shower combo—you gave us ideas for our own bath renovation! Second bathroom a welcome luxury for two guests.
Ample, elegant, attractive, well-maintained kitchen cabinets & surfaces. Good stove, microwave, blender, coffeemaker & grinder. Better cooking/servingware would be a welcome addition. The liquor cabinet, basic foodstuffs, magazines and touring maps were all a plus.
Laundry was a great convenience.
The balcony had a great café table and comfortable chairs. Nice BBQ grill.
The unit is classy and comfortable, if sparely furnished. Surfaces and carpets were clean and well-maintained. Great natural light and high ceilings give the apartment an expansive, airy feel.
A great location on a beautiful block in a classy city…and we hope to come back!

The appartment is large, comfortable and exceeded our expectations. Its location is superb for exploring LA and surroundings. Paul was friendly and available and I would come back if I had a chance.
Paul's place is really nice. Very close to great shopping on Third Street Promenade, the beach and pier. There's also a supermarket close by which helps. The apartment was clean and had everything I needed. Paul was helpful regarding a late check out time and luggage storage. Would definitely come back here again.
Paul is a great host! He is also amazingly accommodating. I stayed at his place two different times (each a week or more). After my first stay, I offered some suggestions on how to make the stay better for future guests (like myself) and he was beyond gracious and appreciated the input (he took care of every request). The location is fantastic and walking distance to everything you would want to see. I picked his location because I had a project at SMP (mall) - only a 10 minute walk from his place (at most). The bonus is a secure parking spot - parking in/around downtown Santa Monica is a nightmare, so having a reserved spot was great. I highly recommend this location to anyone visiting Santa Monica. This will definitely be my go-to spot if I visit Santa Monica again.
Perfect location: close to everything--walking distance to grocery shopping, to 3rd street promenade with LOTS of shopping, restaurants, cafees, movie theater, Santa Monica Pier...you name it! The apartment is very modern and elegant, yet cosy and you feel immediately at home there. Also very important for me as I was there alone (being a woman), it felt very safe--also at night time when I walked around Santa Monica.
Paul was the most pleasant and tentative host; he answered all my questions kindly and rapidly and helped with everything he could to make me feel at home and make it go as smoothly as possible. He even offered to pick me up in the airport (and I arrived around midnight!) and made sure that everything was going alright with me. If I am going back to L.A., I would definitely try to stay at this place again. I can give it my best recommendations!
