Other things to note
The architecture of Dar Drouj dates from 1308. As a result, the house has a beautiful appearance. It is important to know that the doors are low - watch your head!! - and the stairs are irregular and high.
The house is built in such a way that it is nice and cool in the hot summer months. Especially downstairs. In winter, it can be cold in the semi-open atrium. We heat up, but it never gets room temperature everywhere.

Where you’ll be

Fes, Fez-Meknès, Morocco

Our home is located on the outskirts of the medina in an authentic working-class neighborhood. This place is quiet and an ideal base to discover Fes. It's just a few minutes walk to the heart of the medina and there's a great market close by. There is also a taxi stand within a 3 minute walk and a guarded parking lot 10 minutes walk away. Due to the narrow streets, which are so characteristic of the old town of Fes, you can only walk to the house from the nearby lively square.
