Christie has a beautiful old home, across the street from Forsyth Park. The location could not have been better. We were able to walk everywhere, but if you need transportation, the free Dot bus is just across the park. Christie was a great host, providing us with information about the neighborhood and making us feel very comfortable and welcome in her home. We loved our charming room. The furnishings suited the age of the home perfectly and we even had access to a balcony through a floor to ceiling window. The room is equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Savannah has such wonderful atmosphere, so it was great to be able to stay in a home that reflected that atmosphere.
Siena's Chambers was perfect! The room was incredibly inviting and warm, and the bed was beyond comfortable! Christie was amazing -- she was extremely accommodating when I asked for an early check in to attend a rehearsal dinner planned for the early afternoon as well as helping out with a last minute favor for the bride-to-be! The room was equipped with all of the essentials, and even had a guide of downtown Savannah, with maps and suggestions of nearby restaurants/groceries/etc. She was easy to reach when needed, and made the stay very special.
Thank you for such an enjoyable experience!
Overall we had a great experience!
The only negative was that we had some difficulty reaching the host to check in. We followed instructions and reached out several hours prior to arrival- but when we arrived no one was there to answer the door. After 20 minutes and a call to airbnb, Christie called us back with the entry code and instructions.
That said, the house itself is gorgeous and is located right on Forsyth Park, one of Savannah's largest and most beautiful parks. The home is well within walking distance of downtown and the River Walk (only about 15 minutes if I had to judge). The room was large with great amenities, including an in-room fridge, microwave, and coffee machine! The bathrooms were equally beautiful.
It's also worth mentioning that I brought my large dog with us and it was the first time I've traveled with him without concern! The bedroom had plenty of space for a dog bed for him to be comfy while we were out and the close proximity to the park meant that he was able to play ball to his heart's content!
It was a really lovely stay and the experience more than made up for the check-in hiccup that we had. We'd definitely come back! Thanks, Christie!
This was our first visit to Savannah + our first AirBnB experience. Natalia greeted us + gave us the tour of The Forsyth House. We enjoyed our stay + loved being right across the street from Forsyth Park! Natalia + Christie were gracious hosts + The Forsyth House is beautiful! We enjoyed the private terrace + sleeping on the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! We would absolutely stay there again!
The house is amazing! If you are looking for an authentic way to see Savannah this is a great way to experience it. The house is in one of the historic parks and is walking distance to all the fun things in Savannah.
Christie is a pro at hosting. The room was very clean, had its own coffee station, tv, and an amazing balcony that gives a partial view of Forsyth Park. She is very friendly and gives great advice on places to go and things to do.

About the Host, Christie
Hi! Traveling, music, and the ocean are three things that are near and dear to my heart. It is a blessing to live in such a beautiful city that is great to come home to, and I love sharing our little corner of Savannah with our guests. As a host, I use "the Golden Rule" and try to create an environment that I would want to be in as a guest. Cleanliness and comfort (i.e. nice towels and sheets) are always a priority. We are very flexible and do what we can to make each guest's stay as nice as possible and to make everyone feel at home.
