My Fiance and I own the Condo and we're usually available to let you in, if not we have a lock box for you to get the keys. Besides using the kitchen to cook and the bathroom in the morning you most likely won’t see much of us. We do have a very well behaved 40LBS Alaskan Klee Kai who is not permitted in the guest room.
PARKING: Street Parking (day and overnight is fine, no residential sticker or in-state plate needed). A friendly reminder to read the signs for street cleaning.
We are Boston transplants to Portand and absolutely love the area, were big into the food scene here and would love to make recommendations. We are happy to help with your planning in any way.
Looking for a fun daytime activity? We suggest renting bikes at Gorham Bike & Ski (693 Congress St, 4 blocks away). Bike to local breweries, the beach, the Eastern Prom to have a picnic, Fort Williams Park to see the most famous light house and catch the food truck with the best Lobster Rolls in Maine.

Kit and Anna were absolutely delightful hosts! Their Portland home was beautifully decorated and the guest room was perfect for our 2-night stay! They were also great at communicating via text and making sure our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. They also provide notes on the street parking situation as well as additional tourist brochures. Also, their dog Poplar was the sweetest and chillest companion. I would definitely recommend staying with Kit and Anna for the next time you're in Portland - the location is great and within walking distance to Old Port.
Had a wonderful time with Kit and Anna in their BEAUTIFUL space!! Although it was a quick stay they made time to ensure we knew the best local spots and the best ways to get around. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone staying in Portland!
We had a great time at Kit, Anna, & Poplar's beautiful space. Very clean, comfortable, enjoyable walking distance to downtown, great restaurant recommendations...
I just wish we could've stayed longer!
Kit and Anna are wonderful hosts. We had a pleasant stay in their home.
Great experience. Kitt was very helpful and an ideal airbnb host. Great place! Ticks all the boxes and clearly put effort into our stay being enjoyable and comfortable. 5star!
Our stay in Portland was short so we only briefly met Kit and stayed the night before moving on. The condo was quaint and comfortable located a short walk from downtown Portland. We were able to easily navigate to all our destinations from this listing. Kit and Anna have a wonderful, calm, and gentle dog that made us feel welcome. We would have loved to get to know Kit and Anna better as they seem to be hip and easygoing individuals who love their community. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay!

About the Host, Kit & Anna
We are newlyweds living in a funky, fun, bohemian mid-century mod condo. We are Boston transplants to Maine. Over the course of many visits up to Maine from Boston we fell in love with the food community, farmers markets, surfing, the beaches, the small community feel, the art scene, coffee culture and the slower pace. Of course there was also that Flee for All on Saturdays that really had me hooked on the city. We moved into a beautiful historic victorian that was tastefully renovated and sold as luxury condos.
We both work in the restaurant/hospitality industry and love traveling and meeting new people.
We first used airbnb during a trip to San Francisco (we've since stayed at Airbnb's in Morocco, Madrid, Istanbul, Vietnam, NYC) we had such an amazing first experience we vowed that when we left Boston we would be sure to look for a home where we would have the ability to host fellow travelers. Alas, four years later we have that second bedroom! we've enjoyed our guests tremendously and are looking forward to hosting more wonderful people.
