Murray Hill is a residential neighborhood in Manhattan located conveniently south of Grand Central Terminal and is near many restaurants, outdoor cafes, and local shops. The apartment is also 10 min walking from the Empire State Building, 10-15 min away from Grand Central and 20 min from Times Square.
I recommend to take the East River Ferry ( 2 min away from building, 35th street and FDR) if you want to explore Long Island City, Greenpoint, Williamsburg, DUMBO, Brooklyn, and Wall St., while taking stunning photos of the Manhattan skyline.
Noise warning: There's heliport 2 blocks away from the building, so be ready for some noise during business hours, Monday - Friday (9am-5pm).
The building is going through renovations and so you may hear some occasional noises
during business hours ( Monday-Friday 9am-5pm)
I don't even know where to begin!! Regina's home was beautiful and is exactly how it looks in the pictures. The view looking over the FDR, East River and into Brooklyn was very cool. The balcony was a major plus to the already amazing apartment and there's a rooftop on the 35th floor that was absolutely spectacular.
Regina was a very helpful, kind, and attentive host. She was quick in responding, met us to handover the keys, and gave us some suggestions on what to do and how to get to Brooklyn on the ferry right outside of her apartment.
We found some good eats in the neighborhood and the location was nice because we were central and it was a quick trip to uptown or downtown.
I would recommend this location to anyone and definitely would take the opportunity to stay there again.
Thank you Regina!!!!
I needed a place close to work that I could also practice my VJ setup in at night (it's quiet but it takes some room to setup). This place was great. Big comfortable bed, views were amazing, all the stated amenities, and excellent shower pressure and heat. I was only there at night and heard the helicopters a little in the morning before leaving but it was more of a white noise that could easily be ignored. I also had my first experience with the select crosstown bus service and that was fast and great as well. The place was perfect for me who was plenty familiar with the city and just needed a place to stay while working. I'm pretty sure it would be great for a tourist or occasional visitor as well.
Spacious apartment with gorgeous east and south views. We loved having our breakfast on the balcony in the sun, even mid February it was delightful. Regina responds instantly. Apartment was neat and clean. Would stay here again.
Regina was lovely and very easy to communicate with. She happily set up a bed in the living room to accommodate three of us. The apartment looks identical to the photos and does have a great view. There are no blinds on some of the living room windows but that shouldn't matter if you are getting up early to explore the city. The only other issue was that the shower did not drain properly and on occasions, the toilet also didn't flush properly. After about 3min of using the plunger, the drain would finally work. Lamps are the only source of evening light as the living room and bedroom do not have ceiling lights, they aren't that bright but enough to get you by.
Overall we enjoyed our stay in New York and Regina was very helpful.
Regina's apartment is perfect! It's very clean, very spacious and the view is simply amazing. The building is located in a great area with lots of cool restaurants and it's near to 5th avenue and no far to Times Square, Macy's and Broadway. It's simple catching yellow cabs down the street. The concierge was very friendly and helpful. Regina was an amazing host, she gave us suggests and quickly answers for everything we needed. Definitely we loved staying in this apt, we'll sure came back! :D We very recommended this place! Bye guys!! :) and thanks Regina!!
Regina's place looked just like the pictures. The apartment was spacious, the view was nice, and the bed was comfy. I had a fine time. The neighborhood is great, tons of delicious restaurants within a few blocks. The kitchen and bathroom had everything I needed.
Regina was quick to reply to messages and keep me informed. I'd stay there again.
Regina’s place is stunning ! Great view over east rive, good bus connections (E/W) with good connections to the Tune (N/S). Everything you need is available, and when you’re done with walking, it’s a marvellous place to relax !
Thanks Regina !
The stay at Regina's was a nice, homely experience. Great location, forthcoming host, cosy apt. She provided everything we asked her for, so the kitchen is (almost) complete now - unless you wish to go for Gordon Ramsey's experiments. Providing the weather serves, all future guests would have a wonderful stay.
We spent 8 days in NYC in this amazing apartment. Regina was very friendly, gave us all the informations we needed and was available to stay in touch during the whole time, just in case. Excellent host. The apartment was just perfect for our plans: we spent most of the day around the city so we had a perfect place to start our tours (right in the middle of Manhattan) and to come back at night. In fact, we could get easily back at any time from anywhere. Easy to reach from JFK airport too. Plenty of diners and groceries around, so it's been quite easy to get food or cook at home. The house is modern and functional, with everything you may need and an amazing view on the East River. The building itself is going through a major renovation and though you may hear some occasional noises or meet some workers it was never an issue to consider. We had an outstanding experience in NYC, we'd definitely come back to this apartment and we thank Regina so much for her support.
