The space
The legendary Luxton Lake / Ten Mile River region is the setting for the cutest little house in Narrowsburg, NY. This comfortable, well-appointed 1950s cabin is ideal for a couple, a small group of friends, or an artist looking for inspiration. Nestled among nature with private 1000 feet of frontage on the river, yet just two miles from Main Street. The artsy town of Narrowsburg sits along the Delaware River and is chock-a-block with several of the best restaurants in the region.

Recently renovated, the cozy cottage is furnished with one queen-size bed, separate office/den with comfortable sofa, a claw foot bathtub (no shower), a restored 1950s cooking stove, wood floors, and ceiling fan. It is stocked with soft cotton linens, quilts and wool blankets, mid-century dishware, and classic games. There is a spacious under-counter refrigerator, as well as a stand alone freezer. Plus, 12-cup drip coffee maker and an electric tea kettle. Start your morning with coffee on the front deck, and wrap up the day with a barbeque on the back deck.

You can choose from five different outdoor fire pits. One is in the backyard behind the cabin for when you want to be close to home. Another is nestled in the woods next to the cabin, you'll be walking in the woods to get to it. Three others are located along the banks of my private Ten Mile River waterfront land, a beautiful 5 minute walk from the cabin. Cut firewood is stacked near all fire pits. I recommend you bring fire starters, newspaper, and matches.

Located two hours from the George Washington Bridge. Close to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (15 miles), Callicoon (8 miles) and the Delaware River (2 miles).

Three-night minimum holiday weekends.

Looking for to accommodate more than 3 people, or want to schedule a multi-family a Covid safe getaway? My other Airbnb Grandma Gail's Cottage sleeps 4 and is located right next door!
