I am really sorry you experienced that! It should not happen and we are really sorry.
However; to say that this is the case in the mornings (plural) in this studio is not correct. You were there one morning, and of course if this was a regular thing we would not rent it out! This has happened twice over all these years, so for you to say it is a normal standard in our studio I have to correct you.
You are correct about this though; my husband rushed in there with Clorox and soap to fill the drain so the smell would go away. He was there in less than 10 minutes after you contacted us to get the smell out immediately. This was not an attempt to fix the problem long term, but to make the studio nice again for you at that moment. I dont think you would have appreciated it if we told you we had called a plumber and he would arrive next Monday.
I think earlier reviews will show that people are normally happy staying with us. We would have appreciated it if you had told us you wanted to leave, instead of contacting airbnb first since we were next door. But we do hope you found somewhere you had a good time.
