Apartment - Private room · Via Antonio Raimondi, Rome, Lazio 00176, Italy

The Space

The room: 21 m2, painted in yellow and brown. double bed (160x200), internet, wireless, silent at night, nice wardrobe, desk...everything you need at your hand, in a nice and cozy style

The flat: 100 square meters, very bright, central heating, wide kitchen (up to 6 people), bathroom, kitchen, hall, balcony

The area where the flat is located is called Pigneto and is one of the most famous in Rome for former and newer filmmakers, because of its urbanistic and lifestyle.

Just beside the flat, several restaurants, pizzerie and bars are available, and all of the them are much cheaper than in the touristic areas. If you want to walk only 5 than you have a pedestrian area, at 15 minutes even "San Lorenzo" area and so on. All of them have hundreds of places to eat cheaply and even sophisticated, but not pure touristic.
So, in the neighborhood you can find dozens and dozens of restaurants, pubs, all kind of shops and every-everything you will search for at just few steps away. It's very well known as one of the most crowded during the lovely fresh nights in Rome, yet the apartment has on optimal silent location where no one single voice or noise can reach it.

The flat offers you a great combination of both location and comforts. Everything you need is close at hand, the area is safe, the flat both wide and modern. To understand it, just check out the pictures of the flat.

The whole apartment consists of 3 bedrooms, + kitchen, and is the place where do we live.
The bathroom is very bright and spacious with tube, shower and a 2nd sink, for a better comfort.

It is 20 minutes walk away from Colosseum and from historical center; anyway there are plenty of buses and tram just under the apartment. The place is very well connected with Termini/Tiburtina train station as well as Fiumicino and Ciampino airports.

All of the comforts are available, including washing machine, dishwasher, building doorman, high-speed internet and so on.

But what makes this place unique is the warm sense of hospitality that you will feel, from being helped in any need and will you should have, up to have freshly baked cakes and pizza for free while you're staying at our apartment. We really enjoy make people have their best of their stay in Rome!

Full fluency in English, Spanish and French, other languages are anyway very welcome!

Very easy to get to/from the airport and the main train station. From ANY airport (Fiumicino or Ciampino) just get the shuttle up to the main train station named Termini. From there just pick ANY tram and count only 9 stops, as all of the tram stop just in front of my house!

There is no deposit required, nor any other hidden fee or anything else to pay. Just come in and enjoy at the best your stay! We will look after you to give you the very best experience and stay in Rome, with a full support even outside of our house.

You can check in and check out at any time with no extra cost, but please let us know in advance the approximate time of your arrival. Just in case another guest is coming we will ask you to free the room by noon.

If you can see the period you selected as available on airbnb, it means that for that period the room is still free, no confirmation required from my side.

Should you need any special requirement or should you have any question just let me know and I will be happy to assist you in everything!

  • We stayed for two nights with Pietro in Rome and he was a wonderful host and a lovely person. Before our trip Pietro gave us directions to his flat which was especially useful as we arrived late at night. We found his flat was easy to find as it’s close to a stop on several of the main tram lines that leave from outside the main Termini Train Station. Pietro was extremely welcoming and helped us plan our stay in Rome. He provided us with breakfast, which was a nice surprise as we hadn’t expected this. His place is extremely clean and comfortable. We’d defiantly recommend staying with Pietro and we certainly will when we’re in Rome again.

  • Our 3 days at Pietro's place in Roma were perfect. The apartment is clean and comfortable, his mother makes DELICIOUS CAKES for breakfast, and the neighborhood, located a little outside the historical center, offers nice bars and restaurants. There is the bus and the tram right down the street that takes you directly to the city center in a few minutes. Pietro is very interesting and friendly, likes to share time and ideas with his guests and to show them around. He gives you tons of maps and good addresses to help you not to get lost too many times in this huge city.

  • Our stay at Pietro'splace was fantastic! Pietro is the nicest host one can imagine. He gave us a lot of tips and information, We were provided with delicious cafe latte in the morning and home baked -and still warm- traditional cake. The up and coming neighborhood is away from the tourists crowd which is very nice after a long day of sightseeing.Pietro suggested us a wonderful restaurant at only 5 min walk. Pietro's place is also very close to a tram station were you can reach all attractions without problem. Our room was very clean, bright and comfortable. We felt very much at home. we arrived very late at night and Pietro waited up to pick us up from the tram station and welcome us. I can only recommend Pietro's place!

  • Staying with Pietro was one of the best decisions we made when visiting Rome. He was a fantastic host who went above and beyond in every regard to our trip. Before we even arrived Pietro had sent us easy to follow directions to his home, which was situated right in front of a tram stop. The bedroom was large, clean and comfy exactly as shown by the photos. Each morning we enjoyed a homemade cappuccino and a variety of toast, cereals and breakfast cookies. Pietro is a wonderful conversationalist and had suggestions for every step of our trip when needed. He was even available by phone when we got lost in the city. I would highly suggest staying with Pietro, you will not be dissapointed.

  • Pietro is a fantastic and very communicative guy. He really desires making the guests feel comfortable, and achieves it. The house is very comfortable and clean, and the rooms are spacious. The attention of Pietro or of his assistants -Paola and Mohamed - is excellent. They are always ready to orientate the guest according to his needs. A highly advisable experience.

  • Pietro was amazing host and made me feel like I'm at home. he was also very helpful, gave me bus tickets, maps and even a phone with Internet so I could know easily how to go from place to place. At the last night he and his girlfriend even cooked us amazing Italian dinner.. the apartment was very comfortable and cozy, and even though its not in the most Central place, its really easy to get home with the electric tram. in summary, I really really recommend going to Pitero b&b, he is a great host and will make you feel you are at home..

  • We very much enjoyed our stay with Pietro! The room is large and nicely decorated, the flat clean with good wifi and super hot water! The check in was relatively smooth (we were greeted by a friend of Pietro's who was doing the welcome routine for the first time. We think she might have forgotten a few details, but provided some great tips on visiting her home town of Naples. Any questions we had were cleared up later, no problem by Pietro). Pietro provides access to a guide book, restaurant and "things to do" recommendations in the area and tips on visiting Rome. He even gave us a SIM card for our use while in the city to help make reservations etc. which are needed for many restaurants in Rome.

The best part of our stay was by far our host! Pietro is not lying when he says he will provide a huge and delicious breakfast each morning! He visited with us every day and was available to answer questions, provide advice and tell us more about life in Rome! He (and his mother who is also great!) is a warm and wonderful host, who is clearly passionate about welcoming guests to his home. The only negative (depending on what you are looking for) to this place would be the location. It is definitely outside the historic core to the city. It is very accessible by transit which takes about 20 minutes to get to the central train station. However it is about a 50-60 minute walk to the area of the colosseum, trevi fountain etc. We did this walk daily and found it easy to navigate but tiring as we also were exploring most of the city on foot. We can also imagine this walk being very hot in the summer months. If you are looking to avoid daily transit costs and have a place you can easily pop into for an afternoon siesta this location might not work so well.

That being said, the fact that this neighbourhood is a bit of a hike from the city's tourist centre is neat because it does provide an experience of a more authentic and local flavour. We also feel that having a host as wonderful as Pietro is worth the extra kms!

    Thanks again!

  • The yellow room is the same as it shows in the picture, clean and lovely. Monica who made breakfast is a good talker and we had an interesting chat with each other. It's helpful that you can buy tickets here and that is convenient for strangers. It takes you 20mins to the apt from the railway station by tram 5 or 14, so I think it's not so close to the centre and sight spots, although bus No.81 can take you to most places. That means more time you should spend on the way. Besides, You can easily use the kichen and that is very nice for us.
