The Space

The room: 21 m2, painted in yellow and brown. double bed (160x200), internet, wireless, silent at night, nice wardrobe, desk...everything you need at your hand, in a nice and cozy style. There is NOT airconditioning

The flat: 100 square meters, very bright, central heating, wide kitchen (up to 6 people), bathroom, kitchen, hall, balcony

The area where the flat is located is called Pigneto and is one of the most famous in Rome for former and newer filmmakers, because of its urbanistic and lifestyle.

Just beside the flat, several restaurants, pizzerie and bars are available, and all of the them are much cheaper than in the touristic areas. If you want to walk only 5 than you have a pedestrian area, at 15 minutes even "San Lorenzo" area and so on. All of them have hundreds of places to eat cheaply and even sophisticated, but not pure touristic.
So, in the neighborhood you can find dozens and dozens of restaurants, pubs, all kind of shops and every-everything you will search for at just few steps away. It's very well known as one of the most crowded during the lovely fresh nights in Rome, yet the apartment has on optimal silent location where no one single voice or noise can reach it.

The flat offers you a great combination of both location and comforts. Everything you need is close at hand, the area is safe, the flat both wide and modern. To understand it, just check out the pictures of the flat.

The whole apartment consists of 3 bedrooms, + kitchen, and is the place where do we live.
The bathroom is very bright and spacious with tube, shower and a 2nd sink, for a better comfort.

It is 30 minutes walk away from Colosseum and from historical center; anyway there are plenty of buses and tram just under the apartment. The place is very well connected with Termini/Tiburtina train station as well as Fiumicino and Ciampino airports.

All of the comforts are available, including washing machine, dishwasher, building doorman, high-speed internet and so on.

But what makes this place unique is the warm sense of hospitality that you will feel, from being helped in any need and will you should have, up to have freshly baked cakes and pizza for free while you're staying at our apartment. We really enjoy make people have their best of their stay in Rome!

Full fluency in English, Spanish and French, other languages are anyway very welcome!

Very easy to get to/from the airport and the main train station. From ANY airport (Fiumicino or Ciampino) just get the shuttle up to the main train station named Termini. From there just pick ANY tram and count only 9 stops, as all of the tram stop just in front of my house!

Full breakfast, huuge and nice is served daily (the italian breakfast: cappuccino, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, cookies, toasted bread, yogurt, fruit juices, cereal, muesli, marmalade and nutella! The breakfast starts at 8:30 am), as well as the whole apartment (for the common parts) is cleaned up in the morning!

But beside that, you will find here a great atmosphere, you will feel much better than at home, so nice and cool that you won't go away!!

If you can see the period you selected as available on airbnb, it means that for that period the room is still free, no confirmation required from my side.

Should you need any special requirement or should you have any question just let me know and I will be happy to assist you in everything!

  • We enjoyed our stay here very much. The Pignetto neighborhood is off the beaten track and has lots of nice restaurants and bars as well as really great street art! It was cool to stay in a part of Rome that's not so touristy. It is not hard to get to the center from this place. Keep in mind the streets are shabbier than some other neighborhoods, but we liked that. Pietro is a very nice host, he gave us a lot of helpful suggestions, and the room is great. We appreciated the delicious cappuccinos he and Flavia made for us each morning.

  • We stayed in Pietro house for three days and he was very kind and helpful.
Although we could not eat big breakfast because of our busy schedule, Pietro set the table for breakfast with cereal, bread, and cookies and others.

  • Beautiful room and bathroom. Friendly hosts to meet and greet us. Nice breakfast and access to the kitchen. Very kind and helpful when we got lost, had to retrace our steps and were very late. Only suggestion is to be clear in directions what a tram is. We had been in Italy for two weeks and had not seen one or heard them referenced. Which is what led to our getting lost.

  • Could not recommend Pietro or the apartment enough! The hospitality was incredible and he provided us with everything we could possibly need to enjoy Rome. The room was excellent and the location was perfect for us. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home with cappuccinos, euro phone/sim, breakfast, etc... It was all excellent and truly appreciated.

  • The room is exactly as shown in the pictures, colorful, wide and comfortable. We spent only one night but it was as if we have always lived there. The house is quiet and clean. The hosts are wonderful kind nice people, they helped us in finding nice place to see in Rome and gave us good advice about the city. Breakfast was abundant and with great choice, and the company was good. We met other turists and it was nice to have some chats while we ate.
Definitely recommended. Many thanks to Pietro for the beautiful experience we lived. We left Rome with good vibes and good merit was his and his friend's.

  • Fantastic! Everything was amazing during our stay with Pietro. He was very organized and provided us with great information about the local area and all the tourist spots. We were able to make it to dinner one night that he and his girlfriend made and it was such a good way to learn about the culture and taste delicious food! Everything was clean and easy to use. Definitely recommend. I would stay with Pietro again should I return to Rome!

  • Pietro was away, so we were hosted by Andrea, who was simply lovely. We arrived quite late in Rome (later than expected) so she contacted us to make sure we didn't get lost, which was a very nice gesture :) The flat is very nice and conveniently located, the room and the bathroom were spacious and clean and had everything we needed. As soon as we arrived Andrea gave us a super useful info pack, with a map of the area and how to go anywhere we wanted. There are great restaurants and bars nearby, which meant that we had some great Italian food from the day we arrived. We had breakfast with Andrea the day after who not only made us delicious food, but also recommended where we could start exploring the city, and gave us excellent tips for the day. Pietro and his housemates are not only lovely, but very keen to make you feel welcome, as if it were to be your home. Highly recommended.

  • This was our first time in Italy and our first experience with AirBNB. My husband and I were greeted by Andrea who was waiting for us at the door. She was extremely welcoming and provided us with maps and tips about tansit and navigating Rome and also what restaurants to try. The room was large and clean and very cozy. We did not have air conditioning but it was still comfortable. Pietro provided us with a cell phone that we could call and text within Rome and a great navigation app as well as translation apps and even one to get you home! This was a lifesaver! It helped us get around much quicker and easier! Breakfast was served to us by Andrea and consisted of tea, cappuccino, juices, milk, fruit, yogurt, cereal, toast, Nutella, cookies and a coffee cake made by Pietro's mom. Yummy! The room is close to public transit and Pietro provides you with tickets so that you do not have to find them yourself. Amazing! We had such a great time! Thank you Pietro and Andrea, you made our trip easier and stress free! We appreciate it and are glad to have met you!
    Ciao! Seidy and Chris :)

  • Staying at Pietro's apartment is a pleasure! We did not get to meet Pietro himself but got a strong sense of his warm, trusting, open character from his home. It is not just a blank canvas for guests but a welcoming, homely place to stay with books, trinkets and interesting artworks making the place inviting and positive. Upon arriving we were greeted by a friend of Pietro's and given a variety of maps, information and even a mobile phone with internet data and free calls within the country to use for the duration of our stay. A very helpful, personal and thoughtful touch that you would not get with a regular hotel! The breakfast was lovely. It is served up for you with fresh coffee, juices, toast, cereals, yoghurts and Pietro's mothers wonderful homemade cake. This was all provided along with more local information from Pietro's friend over the course of the meal. Another lovely touch having breakfast prepared for you to set you up for the day. The room itself was better than described...very spacious and comfortable and a good nights sleep was had there. In terms of location it is in a wonderful area...very close to the tram stop and within walking distance to the Colosseum and other central attractions. We were two young girls arriving late at night and felt very safe getting the tram from the station and walking the short distance to the apartment block. This was down to the wonderful instructions that Pietro had provided prior to our stay making locating the apartment very easy. Overall I would highly recommend a stay here at Pietro's. Not only is it reasonable but it is personal. You can see from his home and the freedom he gives you within it that he is a very spiritually connected and caring host and I wish we could have met him!!...Maybe next time :)

  • Thanks Pietro. Our first bnb experience was a positive one. Andrea was so welcoming and helpful. Our stay met our expectations. Hot trams and crowded busses just added to our experience. We would stay here again
