Hey Robbie. Thanks for the feedback. Given that your comments about lighting were almost identical to our last guest, and yet the two of you are actually the first to have made this comment to us before, I worry that our living room ceiling fan/light may be malfunctioning. We actually have the same light/fan in our bedroom at home and don't even turn it on at night as it is so bright! There is also an additional lamp in the living room and reading lamps in both bedrooms, so I'm struggling to see how it could be "extremely under lit." Regardless, I will be over at the condo ASAP to address the issue of night time lighting.
All lighting was chosen to meet or exceed basic design recommendations for lumens per square foot in each room. The walls are painted white, furnishings are light colored, and the floor is a polished/reflective concrete to maximize lighting conditions. Each of the rooms have practically floor to ceiling windows omitting grids which may block light. These are all of the things that we have intentionally done to create "Modern and Bright" but the rest is completely out of our control. The photos were of course taken in the ideal lighting conditions with the blinds up, and at the ideal time of day for natural light per our photographer's recommendations. Time of day, season, and weather conditions during your actual stay will of course effect the natural light in the condo. Someone staying during a sunny weekend in June may naturally have a very different experience to a rainy or cloudy weekend in late fall but it doesn't necessarily mean that the photos do not accurately reflect the space.
I have also addressed the mildew on the shower grout with our cleaner. This is obviously extremely unacceptable and won't happen again. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention!!
Lastly, I have not heard previous guests call our furniture cheap, and have only had requests for our source for mattresses and the living room couch, and the curtains which are mounted to industrial curtain racks are of course not sheets. In my opinion, they are a sleeker, and nicer option to clunky bi-fold closet doors.
Regardless, I am extremely sorry that you were not happy with your stay. Our goal is of course to provide you with a great value, and a comfortable and attractive place to stay in. While we do understand that we can't satisfy every single guest as much as another, and that every guest who stays at our condo will see it through the lens of their own preconceived expectations, it is honestly our strongest desire to do so. I will revisit the condo this week and see what I can do to make it better suited to you and future guests.
